@@PapunaOfficial Turbo controller? I would call that cheating but my Turbo controller had this gross clear heat sensitive D-pad zone? I want to say zone but I don't know if I would call Turbo NES controllers cheating all that much as the controllers could be their own thing. Just, and I know it sounds like I'm droning on but I LOVED double dragon 2 and thought the screens on the back of the box for DD3 made it look like it would be a better version of DD2 so I traded it and some Sega games with some allowance for DD3 way back in the day. I was so disapointed that nearly 25 years in the future I'm openingly telling a random dude about it. Secretly I think it may be fine and I hated it as a boy because what I really wanted was another Double Dragon 2. And I'm done, I'll just go be old somewhere else.

The arcade version of DD3 was developed by a third party studio while the NES version of DD3 was made by the original developer studio Technōs Japan. That's why it us so much better.

I think the biggest problem with the game is the unforgiving level of difficulty. Beating the game with, effectively one life and no continues is pretty fierce.

I'm a lifelong DD fan, the worst abomination of Double Dragon 3 is definitely The Rosetta Stone from the Arcade/Genesis port despite being a totally different game compared to the Nes version same time when I was young neither DD3 versions were in my favorite DD of all time.
