Mild budget storage is 512kb. This game looks like a 1MB storage. Streets of Rage 3 is 3MB. The more storage is, the more money the programmers have to Shell out is too expensive. Alter Beast is 64KB storage.

@@XBladenoJutsu Look at the game color limitation ram to keep it at a higher frame per second without a frame drop to lag the CPU 7Mhz. That same Genesis CPU have to do the second job to play music, there are no other accelerators on the console, it is the CPU alone so the music sounds no effort because it cannot handle more.

old as hell 3d models that are then "sprited", similar to mario RPG

they modeled and animated characters in older version of 3d studio on a pentium pc and then made 2d sprites, similar technique to what rare did with dkc. rare used sgi with alias software, though
