This game blew me away first time I played it. Im still absolutely furious that we never tell TomTom that Tam was straight up murdered. Goes the whole game just sitting there wondering where his grandson went.

There's a bit over 700 officially released titles for the NES. Built in a time when the only games people knew about is what they saw on a shelf in their local store. Plenty of good games flew under a lot of radars back then.

@@clubfro Not having an official translation certainly doesn't do it any favours for the english speaking crowd (apparently a fan translation exists if you happen to be a denizen of Tortuga). Besides that it's just always been in the shadow of other titles, so it's never garnered more than a very small niche following.
