I hope the user sorts out some of the NVH issues with aftermarket work like engine noise insulation, door noise insulation etc. However the rattles are an issue though.

This is the best example of three cylinder car issue. Guys most of the brands are doing cost cutting in engine from 4 to 3 cylinder and using it in features like sunroof and all. Remember car's heart is important than any other features. Don't go with three cylinder cars it'll give issues in NVH, vibration and reliability. The more vibrant you get the more damage to the car slowly.

Good user review. Mostly bad service happened to me also, but they won't fix in quick succession and you have to wait for atleast a month for spares back in 2013 to 2016 and it will come from Mumbai factory. Nowadays they doing the service better in my area and hardware spares will be available ready and some body spares will come from mumbai within a week. I gathered this info from my friends and relatives whom using Tata altroz manual and AT, Tata tiago and Tata nexon. Don't know about Harrier and Safari service quality.

DCT is general term used for Dual Clutch Transmission. DSG( Direct Shift Gear) is the name used by Volkswagen group. DCT uses 2 sets of clutch/gear assembly either in concentric or side by side ( in this case 2 input shafts are required). This is similar to AMT in working principle. DCA ( Dual Clutch Automatic) used by TATA is produced by a Belgium company called " Punch Powertrain" and it uses concentric twin wet clutches but planetary gear system for pre reducion . In case of Engine , Tata's 1.2 NA 3 cylinder engine would be noisier and less refined than Suzuki's K series or Hyundai's Kappa series 4 cylinder engines.

I am also bought this ALTROZ DCA XZA variant.. I am also felt the engine sound in cabin but I didn't feel the vibration in cabin as he said for vipers and more than 80Km speed.. it's really well performing in city as well as High way.. I will give 4.5/5 for this car..

Birla sir Nice review, But if u feel or notice that seats of altroz are not good in size , It will not hug the passenger especially driver and co driver generally back side seats are not in good format like less cushion , under thigh support, but it lacks in front side seats also and back side seats literally very small , why these kind of blunders happening , these are simple things that manufactures literally missed in most of the cars. are we buying a formula 1 racing car , those cars having a small seat for purpose .

@15:50 you are worrying about fit and finish...I booked altroz diesel variant finally received a defective vehicle from tata on Oct 2021 .... hahaha... it's 5th vehicle of my home my dad using 1960 fiat and 1980's ambassador (still using both cars) my own brother using Ford Fiesta and santro automatic .. but I impressed with tata new design... my bro advised me on hundai venue but I told "TATA" manufacturing best car...finally tata car destroyed all my hopes... it's my 1st and last car from tata.... really felt bad buying tata... but not taking this as serious just a lesson... I gave it for service 3 weeks back still no update from tata service center... no worries even I dnt care.. I have my bike to use.. but @tata not words to say I thought of showing my finger but it's social media...

Please go with Baleno amt as you are going to use only in city at comparatively slower speeds ...i20 wont give much mileage and service cost is higher in Hyundai.. go for new facelifted Baleno - best as per cost ,mileage and maintenance compared to i20..

Road noise and vibration(NVH) will be there for every vehicle what is said is my comparison with the competition segment 120, Baleno, amaze too, but if compared with Ambassador we can say Altroz has no vibration at all

May be an issue in ur car.. also this engine is 3 cyl so there is always vibrations and sounds will be there at higher rpm... But not that intolerable what u mentioned in the video... Compare this car prize with i20 and baleno they are expensive ...
