@@MotorByte . They replaced the cells. It is a refurbished battery, not the new one. Atleast 10 of my colleagues of a WhatsApp group have had such battery replacement. One had it thrice

What could be the reason for frequent failure of battery? Is it with fast charging? I have booked Tigor ev ( express t ev)for city use As dealer is offering very good discount on it ( 8 lakh on road 180kms range, its a 2022 car unsold and he wants the clear the inventory) Though its a commercial car but im going for it bcos of zero tax and number plate comes in green colour which is manageable.

@@Atdtlrs . The balancing of the cells of HAV battery is very important. Most of time EVs are charged at home. ( 95% ). It is very important to bring down the battery to less than 10% atleast once a month if your running is 1500 to 2000 kms a month. This is an important step for balancing of cells and it's long term running. Also if you charge by Fast charging . After every 5 fast charging,you must do slow charging once

Thanks for the video. #1 Battery is never required to be replaced. LFP has 3000 cycles. Given range of 400km per cycle, that is 1.2Million kms before battery hits 70-80% SoH. Right now since battery is in warranty which is why there is no need to repair the cells, infact OEMs prefer to replace the pack like what Tata is doing right now thanks to their famous "HVCE". Down the line if at all cells can't be replaced because the voltage of the entire pack would have dropped, putting brand new cells in a 10 year old pack with cause voltage imbalance. Tata has already changed the battery supplier for the Curvv.

Thank you for this interview. We own a 2 year old Nexon EV Prime, and are very happy with it for local usage in Bengaluru, but are now looking for a longer range and faster DC charging. Are considering changing from Nexon to Currv, but can't make up our minds on the rear seat, and waiting for more owner's review as well as opening of EV dedicated workshops near our home in South Bengaluru

7.2 "mandatory" charger is a no-go for me. And for many others. It needs to be an optional extra. The original 3.3 is more than enough for overnight slow charging all over India. And in addition to MCB, please also consider fitting an RCBO/PoP in the extra kit for slow charging been shown, many thanks.

With 55 kwh battery it will take 18 hrs for full charge in slow 3.3 kwh charger, 7.2 kwh will reduce this time by half.

The rear coupe design of this car is awesome. Looks like a premium ones. However the uniformity of the side profile considering those big eyebrows on tyre section makes it look less aesthetic. Also until n unless we hav pan India(including rural places) quick charging station, range anxiety will always be there. If charging takes 2 to 3 hours, then intercity travel becomes lengthy n cumbersome.

Regarding EV cars after ownership of around 4 years and driving 56000 , I just want to say that it should be first choice for city driving. But the Fast charging system is not reliable till today. There maybe lots of FCs for intercity driving, but so many are not functional or have power issues etc. There is no reliability or there is no responsibility of anyone for them being functional. We need to work on this aspect
