Tata has so much wealth that they can always be on the top position of the richest person list but the owner "Sir Ratan Tata" donates 60% of earnings in philanthropy deeds and only takes 1% of his earnings and also donate from that too, he has so much but he never take money for himself and cherity it. He is not even on the billionaires list in India

In 2012 I think so Ratan Tata saw a family on bike in rain they wasn't able to get a car after few months TATA launched the most affordable car in this world priced only around 1 lakh INR which is around 800USD as now

But tata company formation is like tata is there or not but company always runs for india image and donate Year on year 66.67% profit to charity. That's why Indian have huge respect for Tata.❤❤❤ Tata have unlimited money but he travel in economy class with local people and they have jaguar,range Rover but he travel in very normal car. It was all messed up with oxygen supply people were dying in hospitals due to oxygen shortage until TATA entered and saved millions. My mom got oxygen after TATA's. For India TATA isn't just a Business giant.

India actually does a lot of capacity building projects for Africa and for very cheap charges....we also gave Tanzania a IIT recently (which is like the top in business engineering colleges world wide)

One latest news out last month is that the Tata group is building an EV battery manufacturing plant in UK with an initial investment of 4 billion pounds employing thousands of people. The factory will start with supplying batteries to Jaguar and Land Rover and then gradually offer the batteries to other manufacturers world wide.

You are partially right. India got off to a very slow start. As far as Africa is concerned China got there first. However, now India is very rapidly replacing China thanks to Tata, Mahindra, Defence Exports and Suez canal Economic Zone Agreement with Egypt

Thanks. In my view, Tesla/SpaceX gained prominence due to Elon Musk's wealth, Amazon became well-known thanks to Bezos' wealth, and Microsoft's fame can be attributed to Gates' wealth. Tatas' might not be as recognized because they are not rich as their focus has always been on donating most of their wealth away to good causes.

This is just the size of TATA Industry today. Wait untill you find out about the philanthropy of the TATAs. JRD Tata was the biggest philanthropist of the 20th century. Speaking of Air India it just ordered 470 new consumer aircrafts from boing & Atrbus making this acquisition the biggest ever consumer aircraft acquisition.
