Hope you understand Tata doesn't donate profit they have donated the entire share of the company. The charitable trust owns 66% of the company. So basically the charitable trust is the owner of Tata company for last 75 years. Which is unheard of about any multi national company. So Ratan Tata is not in the rich list.

Soda Ash is basically used in cleaning pH level from water, it also helps in making glass, detergent, cement,and some company who claimed to have mineral water those minerals are sodium carbonate (soda Ash is just powder form of sodium carbonate)

They are not listed on top companies because the TATA Son's is Charitable trsut which owns 60% stacks in all these different small companies under TATA Group. All these individual companies are not so big except for TCS. Collectively it's a huge bushiness group like but since it's just a charitable trust it's not in the list as top companies by revenue.

They don't show up because they are a conglomerate and only individual companies from the conglomerate are listed on stock exchanges and classified as companies. For example, they mentioned that TCS is the first Indian company to have a market cap greater than $100B. TCS is Tata Consultancy Services, which is just the software & consultancy part of their business. All those other things are listed separately.

Tata is not one company, they are a combination of 100's of companies. Ratan Tata is the head of all of them but not in an official sense. It's like if Apple is divided into different companies Apple Music, Apple I phone, Apple Ipad are all different companies with different head quarters and listed as a different companies in the stock market.
