I am using this product and it works very well. It is Hydrophobic upto an extent since it has some chemical which don't allow water to stay for long time

I think if we use windshield vipers, it wont last long due to continuous rubbing of viper blades. But in light rains we wont need to use vipers that much since the water droplets get washed away by wind itself.

Wet means, you have to wet the microfiber cloth with ceramic spray, and apply it Not wet with water

I don't know about any other ceramics, but I have applied shinexpro ceramic on the windshield and am getting perfect results
