Really appreciate the owner when he said that he doesn't use the sports mode much. I also drive a Nexon ev, and the sports mode is legit fast. Not to be used regularly.

The range the user has mentioned is 300-350, which is typically the range of Nexon EV Max. So, it should take approx. 41 units to charge, not 30 as the user mentioned.

He charges at around 20-25% i guess. I think ac and other creature comforts cuts out at around that charge level. So 30 units is accurate to what he is saying.

I have very bad experience with Tata Nexon EV. After just completing 40000 km, my AC got complaint and checked with authorised work shop, they suggested to replace Ac compressor and chiller unit which cost will be 140000 Rs.

After a lot of research online, EV is best option for daily city commuters. I understand infrastructure is growing, however for 2-3 tier cities & towns with no EV chargers and areas where electricity power cut issues are common, EVs still have long to go.

infrastructure can't grow much because there is not much space in india. if u only travel in city and it is possible to install a charger in your house only then is ev a good option for u. Otherwise it's a bad idea. as the number of evs increase it'll be almost impossible to find an empty charging point. Considering the number of cars in india and space constraints, it is almost impossible for every car to become ev.

Petrol pump is not everywhere but electricity is... almost. If you have portable charger kit. I don't see any problem with EVs.

rear view mirror is annoying because you cannot see the face of the rear car driver. The back of the car is too low so the rear view mirror is blocked from the expanded rear view. It is very essential during driving to understand the next step the rear car driver is planning to do using the rear view mirror but TATA Nexon is unable to provide it.

Tata कार के पास आते ही ये लोग dashboard panel वगैरह ठोक ठोक के देख्ते हैं। hyundai kia की तो पूजा करते हैं ये लोग। i 20 DCT 14 लाख में बेच रहा है। वो इनको महँगा नही लगता। punch EV 11-12 में मिले तो भी हज़ार सवाल पूछते हैं लोग।

Lithium mining se jo pollution ho raha hain, agar usko compare Karo diesel ke saath, toh that means ki EV 30,000 aur 1,00,000 km ke bich mein, depending on the city you live in, completely green ban jayegi. Rahi baat coal ki, coal power plants, kyuki bade aur sophisticated hoti hain, wo Kam coal mein zyada electricity nikaal paayengi. Diesel engine, jo choti hoti hain aur itni sophisticated nahi ho paati, utni energy nahi nikaal paati fuel se. So agar environment friendliness ki baat kare, toh EVs are definitely better

Yaani aap yeh kehna chahthe hain ki companies evs pe lifetime warranty deti hain? Aisa nahi hain bhai. EVs ka average life 20 years ka hain. Proper maintenance ke saath 35 bhi easily touch kar legi. Haan, sab paise ka hi khel hi hain. Isme koi doubt nahi hain, but inn paiso ke chakkar mein agar environment bach jayega, tab toh sone pe suhaga hain. Waise toh petroleum bhi limited hain. Uske baad kya? Duniya ke lithium reserves khatam hone mein abhi bohot time hain. Apart from that, lithium recycle ho sakta hain. Uske alawa, abhi nayi technologies aa rahi hain jo iron, silicone aur namak ke saath batteries bana rahi hain. Aur yeh itni dur bhi nahi hain. BYD company ki abhi ek car hain jo namak wali battery ke saath chalthi hain. India mein bhi ek company ne banana chalu kiya hain abhi namak ki batteries. Plants se bas carbon dioxide kam hone ke chances hain. Plants ka bhi ek limit hain. Agar aapko bola jaye ki ek hi baar mein 100 kilo khana khalo, toh aap nahi kha paoge na. Jitna carbon dioxide gaadiya produce karti hain, unse plants ka bhi same haal hota hain. Agar hum maan bhi le ki plants saari carbon dioxide ko kam kar dengi, baaki gases jaise nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydro carbons, benzene aur formaldehydes ka kya hoga jo ICE gaadiya produce karti hain? Unka toh plants bhi kuch bhi kar payengi. Ulta, inn sab se plants ki growth kam ho jayegi.

Nexon can’t get the range more than 220 km per full charge. Don’t mislead the buyer. I have bought prime and used it for almost 2 years and never got more then 200 km.

When he says MG is not worth extra 5L over Nexon, you immediately changed topic. Why? It is irritating to see same old same old talk of hard plastics. Did you ever see a soft plastic? I haven't. Let me know if you have. You either have plastic which would naturally be hard OR a padded soft surface covered with leather, vinyl or fabric. Also, when you say Tata has hard plastic, then you must also park a creta seltos venue sonet brezza etc next to this and start banging dashboard and door panel of all cars with same intensity and then report. I'm fed up of these one-sided reportings hell-bent on badmouthing tata brand. BTW, they're all very generous towards korean cars. Wonder why?

No worries before Tesla comes to India, Tata would have launched Curvv and than Tesla will have to fight very hard... Please note that Curvv will be first ground up EV so will be much better than EV based on existing ICE platforms

@@putaamit you might be right BUT every other global car manufacturers have accepted defeat. Ford mach E, VW ID series BMW I series etc. none are successful to appeal to the buyer. TATA needs to drastically improve if they want to scale and compete. at the end of the day, car market in india is tiny compared to china and western countries. will be interesting to see.

@@chinmayau India is price a sensitive market and expensive brands have hard time here, Tesla will only launch vehicles priced around 30 lakhs. Majority of market sits in below 25 lakhs price segment so that is why Tata and Mahindra will always win in Indian market. Examples you quoted were on par in pricing with Tesla but here case is very unique and different
