Tata Punch Drive Impressions | Gagan Choudhary

Namaste, I drove Tata’s latest Car Punch recently, and here are my impressions about the car. Tata calls it an SUV and will likely price it below Altroz with a price difference of 15-20,000 lower than Altroz. The engine is 1.2 L petrol NA which produces 85 bhp of power and 113 nm of torque.

NOT Trusted ! If would have trusted him i couldn't buy the Tata Nexon but i believed on me and I bought Nexon and quite happy i am Nexon owner. I have baleno also for same price which is really painfull for me. there is lots of noise issue and complaint. It gave me lots of confidance while driving and don't regrate and services center person is very goood specailly i do in Arya motar in Gurgao. they relsove every issue and properly address. But you need to fallowup if you thing to leave you Car for service and just pick then you might be disappointed. But one day anyone can give in 6 month services.

Overall the car good and offers some great deal in its segment .. Some improvement is needed which I think, tata will improve over a period of time .. the only thing which I'm more concern is about AFTER SALE SERVICE .. Tata needs lot of lot of improvements in its AFTER SALE SERVICR cause this is a biggest issue which has not been fixed over time .. Tata has made a come back with some powerful safest products but only products will not help you tata if you want to grow even more .. After sale service plays the most important role in company's growth .. People will buy and are buying your products now, you are gaining the trust back but your After Sale Service is destroying your image .. A PRODUCT IS NOT GOOD UNTIL ITS SERVICE IS POOR .

Your reviews are most perfectly aligned towards the target customers. I find other reviewers do absolutely nonsensical things like wheel spins and such on cars like these and giving that info which is absolutely unnecessary. Tata has already given the more practical features which Are used to be in SUV's like Traction control, Driving modes, Cruise control, high ground clearance, premium quality and design, premium dashboard, projector headlights, DRL's, Fog lamp with cornering functionality, electrical Tailgate, Night view IRVM, and i never felt engine is noisy rather than i love that sound its like inviting to ride aggressively, isofix child seat, flat rear middle seat floor, 90° opening doors, auto headlights, practical sensors,5 star Global NCAP ratings, water wading capacity, Rain sensing wipers, Aerodynamics Valves which run from front to rear, ABS, EBD,16inch alloys, corner stability, Premium Harman Jbl music system, keyless entry and push start button, and its a longest as well as widest in its segment, and also longest wheel base, and highest ground clearance in its segment etc at this price which is most appreciated, although Sometimes i felt, reviewer expecting more apart from it , rather than focusing and explaining those points. Really don't know why reviewer expecting a 12lakh features in 6lakh car which feel lyk misguided. I think u missed line wireless charger, sunroof, aur cooling seats chahiye tha line.😀 My suggestion for people's is unless urself visit the showroom in person and have TestDrive, u will never come to any conclusions 👍🏻

Engine should be 4 cylinder only. Three cylinder engine is only adjustment to reduce cost. Else three cylinder should come with turbocharged. TATA motors should work with Japanese for developing better refined engine and gearbox.

Lol you would hardly feel any difference if you're a newbie, yes engine noise is a bit in 3 cylinders, but it's negligible! It's just a mind game dude, I own Tiago, and many of my friends have Tata cars, Harrier, Nexon, Altroz but 3cylinder hardly lags! Yeah in first gear' it's not up to that mark but in second it Will gives you full punch!

If you want a smooth engine with a tin can built quality or a OK engine with a 5 star built quality, either way you have to compromise at this budget. Qudos to TATA for the effort they are putting in the past few years, they are bringing out some exciting products. If you are too critical about the smoothness of the engine and if you have more money then go for a higher segment in Skoda or VW , you will get both.

Ignis with 3 star build quallity is better than Punch because reliability and ease of driving is also important. And if the brake bite is not adequate then there is no use of 5 star crash test rating because you might kill someone due to bad brakes and go to jail instead.

Go for punch even i test drove venue and I must say its a very small and congested car, feels like a small hatchback when you sit inside. Punch is much more spacious and looks better too.

Go for punch better value for money better space better safety. Also the car's engine is really good till 60kmph like ignis and punch 0-60 time is same. But after 60 or in 4th and 5th gear punch thoda powerlag feel huva. But thats not a big deal. Anyway for 80% city use punch is much much much better than venue . Hope u take a sensible decision.

@@mayankgupta2485 much more spacious than Venue, even I thought of buying venue but when I went for test drive I immediately decided not to buy it cos it feels really small and congested from inside there's no space, same with sonet, punch from views and reviews of everyone looks spacious, also Venue is much more costly with average safety ratings so I think punch will be a better value for money.

that's right, i was planning to buy nexon dark edition this diwali. But cancelled it. caus i donot want to face problems after paying 12 lakhs hard earned money. After sales matters most, and engine as gagan said matters too. alto K10 drives batter than altroz. gear box, pick up and all are refined. my friend has k10 and other friend has tiago. and I have drove them. I have alto 800, 2009 model and i can see that the Pickup of altroz is nearly same, the difference is only in braking according to me . GAGAN JI PLEASE HELP ME FIND OUT THE CAR, WHICH CAN UPGRADE MY DRIVING EXPERIENCE AND AFTER SALES QUALITY TOO. MG ASTER KESI RHEGI?

@@beastyboi8580 Don't be brainwashed. He is negatively biased. Breaking in Tata cars is far superior than Maruti and Hyundai at least. And there are many things most importantly safety which will be above rivals. "Proper shutlines, panel gaps, interiors quality" all these things fade away with time no matter how much expensive car you purchase. However cost of ownership and safety will matter all the time for you and your family.
