I'm a recent owner of the EV, it's a joy to drive. The surge of power in sports mode is quite intoxicating
@TeteaTochhawngАй бұрын
One thing I always wish car reviewers include in these types of comparisons between EVs and ICE cars is the total cost of ownership for the entire lifetime of the cars. For example, in the video they mentioned the EV version costs somewhere around 4 lakh rupees more than its ICE counterpart. However, one important thing to consider is the resale value of a car. When one wishes to buy a new car they most likely sell off their old one. Considering the degradation of the batteries and the high cost of replacement cells, it stands to reason that ICE vehicles (if they are well-maintained) would fetch a relatively higher resale value (especially considering the lower prices when new). So I think it is important to not only consider the day-to-day running costs and service costs. One has to consider the bigger picture, i.e., whether the higher initial price premium and lower resale value of EV cars would be worth it compared to their ICE counterparts. I know calculating the resale value of EVs in, say 7-10 years, would be hypothetical at this point but we have had a number of EVs in the Indian market for a few years now and I reckon industry experts would be able to give a fairly accurate estimate. If they don't, then these types of comparisons where they only focus on running costs and service costs are not really as useful as they would appear to be.

With that price difference 4.3 lakh rupees you will get around 4000 litres of petrol which can cover a distance of roughly 50 thousand km or more.

@@pranavvalvaikar2170 The kerb weight of top end Manual Punch is around 1030 kgs, Exter 990 kgs, Fronx 985 kgs (k12) and C3 958 kgs. The kerb weight and P/w ratio of all vehicles only differ very slightly yet the acceleration and real life performance on highways differ alot, while all the others do 0-100 in 13-14 seconds, Punch does it in 17-18 seconds which is obnoxious. 15 should have been acceptable.
