Filling LPG from domestic gas cylinder is illegal and highly dangerous. Also the lpg refinement quality of domestic gas is not good for vehicles. We have designated autolpg stations to fill car lpg tanks which have refined quality gas causes less damage to engine. RTO only allows conversation of lpg in cities where there are lpg stations, rest all conversions are illegal

This is Totally wrong opinion. On the contrary ,engine life is increased. I hv been using LPG since 15years and no problems in engine after 2lac kms. CNG is not good for engine as it's a dry gas , but lpg has lubricating property. But the running cost of cng is just half compare to petrol so it ll save lots of money so engine repair cost is also justified.

See the problem with cng/lpg is that no matter what, it pollutes, and considering costs are bound to rise, how can affordability be the case?.
