@@badanalyst1091 Not true Azim Premzi donates more as he holds most of the shares , but Tata's shares are already owned by charities , so Ratan Tata's doesnt donate more moeny as he has already donated shares and thus the value of those shares is much more than what Azim Premji donates

2 reasons why ratan tata is not mentioned in the richest list: 1) real wealthy ppl don't brag for publicity, they are too busy... 2) a major part of wealth goes to charity and social causes... and they don't brag abt it... unlike some tech billionaires who thru their life followed a monopolistic and anti-trust paths and are now masquerading as charity foundations...

@@rohanbohidaraiims-r2121 Well PAR is applicable for different sectors...if u have seen Google...I bet they showed only Par of TCS and Tata motors. Tata sectors are too many in no. compared to Bezos or Buffet or Elon.......also they are spread globally...so estimating their PAR needs assessment in 100 countries which is not that easy. If u see the estimate stats as shown in PAR it even mentions about gross approximation of fewer segments.

Many of them like Tata Finance etc were not even included in this video. Soft drink companies are rather small in comparison to Tata. Tata donates more than 65% of their revenue for social causes or else he would be the richest people in the world. Tata's shares are donated to social institutions.

Tata Group's founder, Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, has been named as the most generous person in the world over the past 100 years, with his total donations amounting to $102 billion. Rupert Hoogewerf, chairman and chief researcher of Hurun Report, said, “Whilst American and European philanthropists may have dominated the thinking on philanthropy over the last century, Jamsetji Tata, founder of India's Tata Group, is the world's biggest philanthropist.”
