I was safari fan & still i am... but when i entered my 6th sem of mechanical engineering i then got to know but makes suv a suv.. 4wd with atleast centre &/or rear diff locks (mechanical not slips).. good MT or heavy tread AT tyres.. yes it is ladder on frame but mechanical it is dud... It is paper or design SUV.. but still it remains my dream car.. hope tata anyday when become profitable made bronco like suv..

Is varicor 400 reliable than normal one and what about maintainence cost i think service would be arnd 10-14k

There’s not much difference between the two cars. Varicor 400 is actually the same engine in a different state of tune. The transmission is however new, a 6-speed manual unit. Service costs are the same as you mentioned.

I have a Dicor 2009 4X4 model safari Yes its very heavy on pocket . But as soon as you travel 1000km in a day u realize what it's capabilities. I use horn vary rarely , all car give side as u approach

I have 2010 santro xing and that also has a hydraulic steering and I feel it's much better specially on highways cz it gives u a feel of the road and u feel more confident specially on high speeds as compared to a electronic steering which is fine for cities but it doesn't inspire confidence on the high speeds.
