One of the best review so far about the safari..but i think you forgot to mention some important facts .this is one of few SUV's in this price range with a limited slip differential(LSD),shift on fly 4x4 system(on the move 4x4) and a low range (4H,4L) gear box. I know that the thar has a low range gearbox but without LSD.. I am proud owner of safari 4x4 and i know the capabilities of this vehicle in 4L..It can climb anywhere.. This is true off roader with rigid rear axle and 5 link suspension system..

the only thing wrong with the safari is that its made by tata .. those nice looking doors are gonna get loose and so will the other screws .. it has an unbelievable drive though .. i wish tata to be a serious car maker and work on the durability of their cars .. after 3 years or so everybody knows what happens to a tata .

I owned a tata safari Dicor 2010, and boy what a beast it was.. though I wanted to exchange it for a varicor 400, i've decided to wait for the Q502 tata is gonna come up with later in '18 or '19. Talking about the scorpio, it might offer you lot of variants, all of them useless though. And with this Varicor 400, Safari sets Scorpio back to its burrow. Love the build quality and ruggedness of Safari..!!

+power drift nice review "lamba chauda sardar" has covered all points in short explainations. still u need to b more detailed like your team does for bikes. i use to love safari when i was a kid and it seems like i have grown up but safari is still living in past, why not tata gave the good interior like zest. although i have lost my trust on tata's reliability and durability after using tata indigo it was worst experience costing me most of the weekends e with mechanics and service centers with a desert of healthy bills. coming to scorpio mahindra has given there best but it doesnt feals tough like TUV. well PD team u need to help me to know which vehicle will be the best package with the combination of Toughness, reliability durability performance saftey and comfort

Woah Ho Ho Ho, this is what improvisation means. Helmets off Drift Singh, what a slick review. I mean it was as smooth as a dime. Surreal screenplay and your voiceover just complemented the whole thing in the best way possible. You sure are a great addition to the team and you augment the artwork seamlessly I am really looking forward to listening to you in the near future. Loved the off road shots, prowess dripping from each frame. Some prudent investments on after-market mods and you can make the Storme look like a badass. Although the interiors are a big let down especially the center console and instrument cluster when compared with the biggest rival id est Mahindra Scorpio. Scorpio packs within enormous amounts of charisma and on road presence without any after market modifications. It might take a few more upgrades for the Storme to match that level but it sure can be a desirable option for SUV lovers. 400 NM of torque speaks for itself.. apart from this, the range rover like 4/4 nob is the only wooww factor about this car. Reliability and the amount of money it guzzles after say about 4-5 years is that is a big let down. This is where Scorpiro, the work horse, kicks in and steals the show. I was hoping for little more from TATA after the range Rover takeover. :( AND, I totally agree with you when you said ki "ek baar toh leni hai" factor :)

HELP ME POWERDRIFT!!! I want an honest advice from you. I am planning to buy TATA SAFARI STORME VX 4X2 in December 2018. Is it worth to buy a Safari now? I personally don't like Scorpio and I don't see any other good 7 seater SUVs on option. Plz help. Should I invest in a safari which is a comfortable car for long rides but also given that it is more than a decade old car and doesn't have many modern features. I personally am ready to compromise on these state of the art features if the overall ride quality and durability of the car is worth investing my money on. I personally feel Singh's voice is bad for reviews . Need more bassy voice and it's purely my personal opinion though . And guys Safari is much more capable than you reviewed. The hydroform chasis , axles which can be twisted to max, torque and much more due to which the SUV survives on big jumps . Scorpio will brake her axles if she does serious off-roading . I believe PD team is using a strome which I could see in random videos . Please come back with a sexy off-roading and wild looking safari 400 in the video. Ten hut I'm huge fan for the editing job but this vid is not upto the mark. I'm just a fellow rider from our ridinghood :) . Can you please work on this and Come up with another video ? Tata Safari was my dream SUV since my school days right now I am using Xuv 500 and Nissan terrano I am very surprised after test drive demo safari has done just 18000 km but so many sounds were coming from doors very notchy gear shift reverse gear is so tricky that new driver can not shift easly. suspension is better than Xuv but overall Safari is not for those who love driving.. except blint supporter of Tata Safari..

Yar ek bar to leni hai. Is the true complement an SUV can get. But in ever raising indian market tata safari lost somewhere few big blow hit safari when scorpio came out as an better alternative and fortuner gave the mighty blow that held the safari in back foot. Safari is still a dream of many but safari failed to give something amazing in today's sense. When XUV500 came out with all new design and creata claimed the throne. Safari have to enhance the mileage at least 16 in city conditions and 19 in highways but without compromising the performance Otherwise safari will be a setting star. Hope tata read this
