Govt not bothered about taxpayer middle class, low real GDP of below 3%, high inflation, rural distress and high unemployment will result in markets trending much lower. Most of the recently announced quarterly results are TAIN TAIN FISSS. FIIs are non-stop sellers with net sell of nearly 45,000 Cr after Budget. The reality is this market will test the patience of investors for a long time. But you continue to be a bit over-optimistic & say markets will fly with NBFC, Banks, IT & Consumer stocks set to zoom with FED rate cut? Realistic or Dukandari?

Sir @bmtheequitydesk , one question. I have put 3L in algo trading and able to earn monthly net 10% (including trading charges) on it which effectively translates to net 1500 rs per working day. This is as per last 4 months trading. Is it worthy investment? In terms of daily range of return it is -3% (exit conditon) to 12% but algo is able to stay + on more no of days. Do you think I can make more by directly investment in stocks (e.g lets say via a multibagger)? You keep saying that dont do 1k-5k per day profits but return % wise above seems good to me. Please guide. Also, algo will keep ~30% of this profit (not excluded from above)

Sir, INTERACTIVE BROKERS is good as you advised. ICICI Direct has collaboration with Interactive and the process is very smooth. Thru the DMAT account of ICICI direct one can invest in US Stocks thru Interactive brokers and so far not faced any issue. Not sure why AXIS guys are creating problem.. may be lack of understanding of that person at desk ..

Hello Basant Sir, India finished 71st in Olympics ranking which is such a poor performance. Since my childhood, I have seen that nothing has changed. But on the contrary in our talks, we brag so much about every thing - hum hi yum, yum hi hum. We talk like that we are above America & China. Hum hi mahaan hain har cheez main. Badi badi baate wada pau khaate. We spend so much in infrastructure on papers but nothing comes out visually. Rather we see china as low grade country but I was amazed to see the infrastructure of china which is better than the america. I have watched it on KZbin but it was mind blowing. You must be astonished that why I am criticising us because after paying so much of taxes, we don’t get anything rather we get big pot holes everywhere. This is never ending talk so I rest my case.

Retrospective taxation is a detrimental policy for India. A verdict supporting it could set a precedent for other state and central governments to target other industries and even extend it to income tax. Such a policy should have been abolished. I was hoping for a positive change from the Supreme Court.

I play the US large caps from Germany. It's a weird liquidity driven bearish market up there (not the classic kind). The clutter of unintended flows is still huge but money supply is fighting back. One thing I love to follow is the corporate debt maturity wall, it's a good proxy to understand the real deployable credit supply. The maturity wall for mid 2024 has been shifted to Early 2025 backed by junk bond sales earlier this year.
