This review seems to be paid and very biased. Seems like Tata is eating into the market of the Grand i10, and Hyundai has sunk to low heights by getting channels to make paid reviews. I own a Tiago XZ petrol. Handling is awesome. The steering is light in the city, but becomes heavy at higher speeds on the highways. Steering response and feedback are awesome. Safety is class leading (ABS + EBD + Airbags + Corner Stability Control). Suspension is the best in the segment - even cars 2 segments higher do not get such beautiful suspension. (Suspensions of Hyundai cars suck in general. They sag too much and hit speed humps very easily. Seating in the rear seats of Hyundai cars for a long time at high speeds gives a feeling of vomiting - I am speaking from my experience of being in the back seat of a Hyundai Grand i10). Seats are class leading in Tiago. Comfort is class leading. And the Harman music system can be compared with cars worth in multiple millions. I get a mileage of around 23 kmpl on the highway in my Tiago XZ petrol. I recently did Bangalore to Kolkata via Nagpur by my Tiago, and the car never for once faltered. Beautiful car! I am a more of a highway driver, and the Tiago is a real mile muncher. It is also a very reliable car. And all this comes at a very reasonable price. Maintenance is very low as compared to other cars. Parts are reasonably priced and availability is never an issue. Please make a genuine review of the Tiago.

It is absolutely correct. I have creta and seating on its rear seat is not less than a punishment and as you said it feels like vomiting. It is better not to go than on seating rear seats of any hyundai cars. So, tiago is our clear winner. Also Grand i10 as well as creta have very very less mileage.

Swift mein beth ke hi maje a jate hai. But tiago Ki ride mein vo maze nahi Jo swift ki ride mein hai. Manta hu ki safety mein tiago lajwab hai but tata ki service bahaut kharab hai Aur feauters bhi kam hai.

@hemant's craft world & gaming the 1 second difference is evident as tiago is 100 kilos heavier , i believe its is a very good package , just for 1 second difference i wont pay 1 lakh extra for less secure and less comfortable car and handling is far better on tiago as compared to i 10 as i10 steering has no response for enthusiastic drivers , as far as ciaz is concerned engine is not that great in terms of enthusiasm , however car has good space and milege , not fun to drive , i suggest skoda rapid for enthusiastic drivers , engine is awesome , build is awesome , just space is litlle less ,6 year warranty too and service offers which makes it a full package

It's a globally acclaimed product from Hyundai. Tata should provide safety features as standard, there should be no excuse. People who buy Tiago/Tigor should opt only for XZ anything below is compromising with you precious life. This is the sole reason why grand i10 is safer than Tiago cause safety features are standard.

@Himanshu Chaudhry neither has the Indian Tiago. Just because cars share the same platform does not mean they would have the same safety score. European versions have featured like traction control and hill assists which Indian buyers are not even aware of. Ford freestyle bears both these cars in safety features but then you have to shell out that extra premium. Hence if you are tight on budget go for i10 era rather than Tiago xt.

Watching this comparison again after buying Tiago 2019. With 7" touchscreen and better noise insulation. Happy for my decision. It actually feels heavy to drive, more planted and more comfortable. For a Tiago owner driving any hatchbacks and sedans is like riding splendor for a bullet owner. 1200cc three cylinder engine with 1025 kg kerb weight actually gives a mileage of 18+ easily anywhere. And most important the satisfying doors thud sound.

Unfair comparison...should have compared the upcoming Santro with the Tiago. Tiago is much more VFM if compared to the Santro. Tiago only needs a facelift(like the Tigor facelift), if it gets CNG and Touchscreen(in top end) then it is a very preferred choice over the Santro.

Don't compare Tiago with I10..I10 is a bigger hatchback..it can be compared with Swift or Polo..So in terms of space , features and practicality I10 is the best..and don't worry about mileage if you travel less than 30 kms a day..if you have bigger family and need comfort then i10 is the best

Be a Tata Motors car owner, you will be. I have Tata Tiago (2 years old) and had Santro which our family used for 15 years. Hyundai's refinement is far better than Tata Motors but the build quality of Tata Motors is top notch. If I am still given an option to rethink on my purchase I think the new Grand i10 offers much more than what it offered in 2016. If you want to drive a tank go for Tiago, if you want pure refinement go for Grand i10. The major factor which plays in is the price. The top model of Tiago Petrol Manual is Rs. 575000 after discounts and the comparable model of Grand i10 will be Sportz which is around 1 lakh more expensive (yes it comes with a touch screens system supporting Android Auto) Just compare Tiago's music system quality with Grand i10 or any other car which is more expensive than Tiago and share your feedback. If value for money is your proposition then Tiago will be your choice. Sales figure of Tiago also indicates its getting highly accepted.

If you think it makes noise you are right its because of its 3 cylinder engine but it will not interfere too much in your daily riding because its ride quality and comfort will kneen to forgive noise & any minor issues.... @@kingmk89 1st (2000 km) and 2nd (around 7500 km) services cost about Rs. 250 each. 3rd service at 15000 km will cost almost Rs. 2900 because there will be some changes like engine oil change and some other things. I am yet to get the 3rd service done. Completed 14200 km in 10 months now.

@@kingmk89 Hyundai, Honda and Maruti services are way more expensive. Only Ford is cheaper than Tata. But Ford's service quality is bad in most service centers. Only a few good service centers are there for Ford. Tata, on the other hand has vastly improved its service quality pan India. Customer service centers seem to really customer focused nowadays, especially for white board vehicles.

I recently did Bangalore to Kolkata via Nagpur by my Tiago, and the car never for once faltered. Beautiful car! Go for it. I am a more of a highway driver, and this car is a mile muncher. It is also a very reliable car. Trust me. And all this comes at a very reasonable price. Maintenance is very low as compared to other cars. Parts are reasonably priced and availability is never an issue.

Sir pl. note that when we check a car its all about engine, suspension, body thoughness. Apple car play, sunroof etc has less impotance in a country like india with dusty enviroments. Higher loading lip is always safer intimes of rear collision. pl. mention uphill climbing torque of tiago is better than grand i10 although both r 1.2 ltrs.

The review is so unbiased. All the specifications are covered deftly except look. Both are puny but Tiago beats i10 in terms of sharp lines, composure, both front and back designs and cuteness. Tiago really looks tiny and cute in it's segment.

TATA should necessarily change the Boot space allignment in Tiago CNG like that in Celario. This small change will make it a complete "value for money" car. They shouldn't feel any shame or ego for the betterment of company and its customers.

And most important we have seen tata car indica.. engine voice.. after few year body will make feel of bus.. Tata is best company for bus and truck...
