It's my 3rd car now...but never gone for a Tata vehicle...it's not because I dislike it.. instead Tata provides the best models in it's segment.. fully loaded and appealing designs.. But many hesitate to go for a Tata... because of the market talks.. honestly speaking,there is an negative wave being circulated regarding it's resale value..and it's reliability on the long run.. If Tata able to give assurance on those issues.. then no looking back...for me it will be "TATA ZINDBAD"

Tata petrol engines are a little bit noisy (I'm talking about tiago and tigor).But its very powerful.Even a 3-cylinder engine gives you a good driveability (but with noise intruding into the cabin)

Please don't use crash guards,actually it reduces the safety by transferring the impact of a crash to the vahichles body,bumpers are actually used to absorb the impact of a crash,but crash guards prevents bumpers from doing it.

Very good review and presentation but as a car reviewer, You have certain responsibility as well. You have installed back bumper guard on your Tigor that is illegal and harmful for the safety of pedestrians. Indian government's Ministry of Highways and Road Transport (MORTH) has issued a notification to ban all crash guards or commonly known as bull-bars on cars and SUVs. The ministry has also issued a strict warning that action will be taken against unauthorised fitment of crash guard/ bull bars on motor vehicles under the Section 52 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Also, penalties will be imposed under Section 190 and 191 of the Motor Vehicles Act. As far as the safety of your car bumper is concerned, a metallic bumper guard is very dangerous for the car itself if the crash / collision is in high speeds. It's metal and screws will destroy the bumper and car parts. The car crash guard / bull bars mount directly to the frame or chassis of the vehicle, and in case of an accident, your vehicle can suffer severe damages, and even the occupants sustain injuries. I hope you understand my point. It's good to share your views with others but don't give them wrong impressions. "Bumpers are made of plastic for a reason."

The car is really great, the driving experience, build quality, service cost etc the only problem in my experience so far is it's little noisy 3 cylinder engine, which causes little discomfort when the music system is turned off during a long journey. Otherwise it's a very good car for the price.

I'm using Tata Nano for the last 7 years and still I don't feel any engine complaint. The only problem with tata is that the plastic parts quality and I think it will depend on the money we invest... Tata cars are reliable and are well suited for our Indian roads. To be honest most of the Indian roads are not meant for sporty drive and peppy engines. One must buy car as his requirement that's it..
