Namaste Doston, tata zest ka jo petrol engine hai wo kaile tareef hai kyonki wo apko behtar performance to deta hi hai or sath me refinement or NVH level bhi kafi achha hai. iss video me maine 2 saal purani zest ka review kia hai jo lagbhag 44000 km chal chuki hai, itna chalne ke baad kya haalat hai iss gadi ki or kaisi chalti hai wo bhi dekhte hain.

Dear RD, I am owing ZEST PETROL XT (MT) since 2014-OCT and found issue-less vehicle. Recently covered aprox 2500 KM trip with 4 passenger and full load with full AC on total trip mileage was 18.5 (drove in all 3modes as per requirement). Regarding after sales service, I am happy at my dealer's point. My GENX NANO XT and ZEST XT (RT-MT) both are keeping well. According to me, it was my Great Choice (in 2014 OCT). You will agree even after 44,000KM the car you reviewed, performing well because it is TATA made.

You are absolutely right mr Chinmay...I also have tata zest xms petrol(Dec-2016) & driven 9000kms & my odo shows an avg of 16.1 kms...& Also I have driven all the compact sadan cars on the test drive...on overall performance there was only one to beat every other was tata zest..& also it was safest among all. I think Desi driving school should try new tata zest Petrol...it will actually give you right datas to compare.

Speaking about the ride quality I found that tigor and zest have almost same. Since I have both Zest and Tigor in my garage speaking about the mileage of Zest petrol it can given around 20-21 kmpl but under speed of 70-80 kmph with eco mode and very light foot on acceleration.

Sir, lekin engine tata zest ka 4 cylinder hai. Wahi tigor ka 3 cylinder hai jiski wajah se isme low-end power lag hai. Zest me aisa nahi hai. Zest a acc. shaandaar hai. Petrol car me mai waise bhi fuel efficiency nahi dekhta. Tata zest ki build quality baki cars se achchi hai jo market me no. 1 seller hai, jinka mai naam nahi lena chahta. Tata zest safety standards par 4 star rating wali gaadi hai(Global NCAP). Akhir isme bura kya. Market me jo no. 1 seller hai, zara uski safety rating kitni hai, koi nahi puchta. Although, Ravi sir, apne shaandaar video banaya. Ekdum honest review tha.

Shreyas Singh yes brother I agree.. I have zest xm petrol.. Am getting 23kmpl on highway with ac on 90kmph.. Even with aggresive driving I got 16.7. There is no issue with milage. And yes more safe from that peepa car 😜.

@@akshaysrd if you drive at idle rpm, it will take more efforts for your car engine to maintain that speed, you must drive around 2k rpm in your top gear and just hold the throttle in a way that your car must maintain that speed, whenever it goes up, just released the throttle and press again to maintain that speed.

Mine is a TATA BOLT XT REVTRN Petrol model which shares same platform and almost all features of ZEST, but with a much smaller boot which I feel discomfort while I pick dad from airport. When we went to purchase our BOLT, ZEST wasn't there at the showroom display or else we would've bought this blue beast. Still, I love my BOLT too 😘

I have driven petrol version for over 56,000 Km and 3 years. Overall average achieved 18 Km/litre approx (56000 km). Lowest average achieved 12 Km/litre approx (only city ride). Best average achieved on Yamuna Expressway 27.5 Km/litre. Vehicle looks nearly brand new and without any body sound. Accept for minor rear bumper repair (accidental) no engine/electrical or electronic failure occured. Reasons for NOT BUYING this car :-- tata makes truck, I like imported brand, I don't like tata, I don't trust Indian brand, I don't like compact sedan, I cannot impress my girlfriend with Indian brand, I like expensive cars, this car is not as comfortable as Honda City or Volkswagen etc etc.... Reasons for BUYING this car :-- Best price to overall package ratio, I like compact sedan, I like spacious interior, I like overhead space, I like higher ground clearance, I like fuel efficiency, I like low maintainance car, I don't like to throw my hard earned money on costly cars, I trust TATA brand, I support Indian Brand, TATA now also manufactures JAGUAR & LAND ROVER, I like good Music System, I like good interiors, I like good cooling system, I have 5 members in my family, I should not compare Honda City with TATA Zest as they are in different category all together etc etc... Readers please give your comments. I am at Agra. Anyone who does not believe can be my guest to see it for himself. Zest has 4 cylinder engine hence more refined and smooth. Rest all depends on your driving habits. I bought against lot of people's advice but I am happy I did not listen to them. TATA Please GO ELECTRIC in future.

Kyon ki hamare ghar me Tata Zest (Petrol) variant tha, jo 2015 me purchase karke, lagbhag 66,000+ km run ke bad abhi 2020 me sell out kiya... (& We moving to Tata Nexon now...😊) Jab 2015 me yeh car launch huyi thi, tab iska mukabala kisike saath nahi ho sakta tha... Hame 2nd Top variant (XMS) Only 6.5 lac on road pada tha... Hamari priority thi 5 adults ko dhyan me rakhke... Pros - sabse jyada spacious even back seat 3 adults ke liye comfortable, (Tigor me bahot kam space lagta hai back seat pe hamne ek baar puri family ke saath check bhi kiya tha) excellent ground clearance, 3 drive mode, in City mode you can get Power as well as enough mileage figures, Projector Headlights, Mind blowing music system Harman ka 4 speakers 2 tweeters wala package... Most important 2 air bags, breaking controls ABS+EBD aur jyada weight ke wajah se jo dab kar chalti thi Highway pe, kasam se kabhi bhi aisa feel nahi hota tha ki yeh out of control jayegi... Cons - Only mileage 12-17 overall (Petrol), Aur kuch issues aise the jo service center se the, jo ki woh easily solve kar sakte the, par dhyan nahi dete the... Agar kisiko 2nd hand leni ho, toh main unko (Diesel) variant achche condition me hoga toh leni ki salah dunga...👍

Don't agree that ride quality is bad! In fact it's ride quality which sets it apart, honda amaze and xcent will fail in the bumpy roads. The only negative is that the mid range is sluggish in eco mode. Mileage kaun gadi deti hai sir? What about the toughness, what about the quality of the body - feel the weight of the doors...nothing said about it. Suspension is very nice and mileage only Maruti gives at which cost? Tigor is crass. And how can you compare nexon with zest! Shat shat Naman!

I am also planning to buy a car within 8 lakh on road budget. Which is a better option among zest xt and aspire titanium petrol? Zest secured 4 stars in global ncap ratings and aspire secured 3 stars. Also the structure of aspire was found to he unstable. Zest does not has the problems of a 3 cylinder engine which tigor have as it is a 4 cylinder engine. I see a lot of zests in ola and uber but why it is almost non existent as a personal use vehicle among mass?

Body built quality, NCAP 4 Rating, Cabin Space , Harmon music system overall better option than Dzire and Xcent for diesel engine although engine in not that much refined but current model has overcomed the suspension Issue. Even price is slightly lower than maruti and Hyundai .... Support Indian brand.😃

You have fans for maintaining simplicity and honesty in your direct presentations, thanks for your sincere efforts. My Zest XT RT is a mid 2016 car close to 1 lakh km and never has shown any issu. However, major service at 105000 km is due and first tyre change is also falling around. Overall kmpl never gone below 21 (tank to tankfull). I work in desert region of Rajasthan amidst very high temp. I am also dropping the idea of replacing it for another 1 lakh km. Dr Alok Dwivedi

It's overall mileage. Now odo has crossed 1.23 lakh km, still goes strong and silent as new. Tyres changed at 1 lakh km, battery changed in 5th year, no other major replacement.

हैलो सर, मैने टाटा जेस्ट माडल- एक्स एम एस - अप्रैल 2015, पेट्रोल, मई - 2019, 48,300.00 किमी0 चली हुई, खरीदी थी। मै सेकेन्ड आॅनर हूँ । खरीदते समय, मुझे गाङी की नालेज नही थी। गाङी एक दोस्त की एडवाइस व टैस्टिंग से ली थी। गाङी खरीदने के बाद मैंने व अन्य कई पुराने ड्राइवरों से गाङी टैस्ट करवायी तो गाङी का माइलेज बहुत कम है, हाइवे पर 22 किमी0 की दूरी पर बगैर ए0सी0 माइलेज 14 किमी0/ली0 का ही देती है। ए0सी0 पर सिर्फ 12किमी0/ली0 का ही देती है। सिटी ट्रेफ़िक में बगैर ए0सी0 सिर्फ 8किमी0/ली0 माइलेज ही देती है। तुम्हारे एक वीडियो में बताया गया है, कि तुम्हारी अपनी टाटा जेस्ट गाङी में, सीएनजी किट लगवाने पर भी कोई फायदा नहीं हुआ। मेरी इस गाङी का माइलेज कैसे बढे?

I have a Tata zest XMS ...... When 6 months check up is skipped even only 2-3k kms ride... It shows the amber colored sign and the acceleration is gone.....you can't accelerate the car....and it runs on the default speed 20-30 kms....this happens even in a running car.... then it gets fixed by itself after 24 hrs.....so....for emergencies we can't rely on it!!?? It has happened twice with me and once in emergency too...

hello sir, ek doubt hai, swift [2018] kharidni chahiye ya zest because maruti ka sheet metal itna accha nhi hota hai compared to other cars thore si takkar se dent pad jata hai, hyundai ki cars acchi hai but maintenance ka kharcha bhut hota hai maine 1st time car kharidni hai aur maine chandigarh main hi zayadatar car drive karni hai, mostly isliye ki thora bhari saman bhut zayada bhi nahi 15-20kg [sabzi mandi, aur grocery items] ya mom k sath kahin jana pad jaye us k liye diesel car nahi kharidni cause maintenance aur thori pricy bhi hoti hain aur responsive car chahiye matlab jab speed ki demand ho toh engine se immediate response milna chahiye hyundai ki sheet metal acchi hai but maintenance bhi bhut hoti hai aur yeh probability bhi hai k car resale bhi karni pade bhut time baad. so tata ki zest ya maruti swift 2018 VXI

Respected ravi sir, if Better NVH (Less noise),rear seat space for 3 is better in tigor than Freestyle except engine perfomance.Even freestyle ka top Petrol mehnga bhi hoga tigor top petrol se. Toh kaha ja skta Tigor ek better car hai except engine and more Value for money too ???
