TATAMI CIRCLE BOUQUET HOLDER / Quick Tips with Hitomi Gilliam

Sharing another Quick Tips Tutorial with you today on how to quickly whip up a 'Tatami Flatwire' Bouquet Holder armature, using 3/16" Flat Wire from Smithers-Oasis (www.oasisflora...)
The coolest thing about this mechanic is that the spaces you create concentrically between wires... you can widen OR narrow them to suit the stem insertions. It’s a great structure that I first created with Midollino... same difference... A very diverse technical method to use with willow, dogwood whips, flexigrass, etc.

Yes, I agree, I’m not sure how simple this would be to do the first time. It’s just a matter of learning to work with these materials again. Thank you, Hitomi! This is a really beautiful armature for a bouquet. I have had one bouquet in my life. No, now that I think of it, I had a wedding bouquet, too. It was that first bouquet, my parents gave me, for my first communion. The odor of carnations has stayed with me ever since.
