yeah, i got you on that! mental illness cannot be washed away with "it was the house". Also the speech "it was the evil in the house that used Tate as a vessel to generate the Antichrist" is useless as in the alternative timeline the other Antichrist was born in a normal house by two humans xD

Absolutely, I was so bothered when they revealed Tate was affected by the House’s evil and it’s what made him behave like that I enjoyed Tate’s characterisation in Murder House because that’s what psychopaths are like But ep6 of Apocalypse cheapens his character

Amen! This is what I've been telling. Te writers were afraid that if they didn't redeem Tate (and Violet still forgave him) they'd be accused of dupporting unhealthy relationships. I totally consider Tate out-of-character in Apocalypse. Season 1 portrayal is my canon Thank you for this amazing edit
