Alec’s version just hits different man, like the original has more of a sadness and disappointment kinda vibe to it but Alec’s one really felt like there was anger in the first verse and chorus then it became the sadness of a heartbreak (like you’re heartbroken all over again from right after the breakup) in the second verse and chorus to both emotions just mixing together at the end, dang my heart oof HAHA
