Since 2012, Lynette YIADOM BOAKE becomes my favourite absolute painter. Her " palette " is totally breathtaking, the paintings are powerful and real poetry ! Mrs YIADOM BOAKE '" coup de pinceau " blows my mind . Thank you to the TATE GALLERY because my husband and I planned to go to the Exhibition, last Autumn .

Absolutely incredible work. The depth in the art is so mesmerizing, drawing you into every piece individually. I definitely want a piece of her work for my collection. My favorite piece is the man with the pink (glove/hand).

The way art is talked about is so pretentious, contrived and grandiose; it's demeaning.

@@mazolab Spot on, so many points covered so well! I think the point 'Damned by faint praise' is very pertinent; seems 'ordinary' folk have such reverence for Art Experts that they can't bring themselves to critique or contest them, they seem to want to agree with them and be associated with their interpretations, and conclusions, instead.
@atsugadri3 жыл бұрын
@@mazolab I loved every bit of your commentary, I will definitely come back to understand every word you said. I'd love to see your paintings too : ), if you don't mind sharing via email Iraschrazad@yahoo.com, we can also talk more about your valid views on what visual art has become. thank you
