she has a whole another take on the city that includes 20 million people, while just passing through the streets, squares you don't see a certain type of perspective in things. felt very lucky to hit this video

The way she sees deserted and neglected structures inspired me as an Istanbuler. There are so many things to uncover and rediscover in Istanbul.

I really like her work. She does instalations with stones. And coincidentally her surname in exact translation" big stone seller" yan in Armenian means Son of (somebody son of big stone seller, son of barber, ). She has this passion of a city like istanbul

A one of a kind city for sure. I loved to be there even thought it was for a day and a half. I have to come back. What an artist, so connected with herself.

I really like her work - it has a lot to say, and it's strangely beautiful. But, I must admit my ambivalence on the subject of 'ghosts'. If ever a city was 'haunted', it would be Istanbul. Of course, the same could be said for any continuously-inhabited, ancient city - London, or Cairo, for instance - but, there is something very different about Istanbul and its history, art, and architecture. Over a thousand years of Byzantium lie underneath, and scattered about, the heart of this modern city. Just my observation... :)

Turkey is an amazing country, it's a shame the Islamic strictness.
