I just went back and watched this video after your post today mentioning it. I know you probably won't see this comment and it is a big reason I do not comment on videos, but I really wanted to this time. I started watching your videos probably 3-4 years ago when I was in a very low place. I had attempted suicide and I just thought it was over for me. Finding your channel helped me mentally escape and immerse myself into something different. I fell in love with your videos back then and haven't missed a single one ever since. It means so much to know you're a real person with those feelings too. I love you and I owe you a thank you for pulling me out of such a dark place in my life. I'm glad you found youtube.

I reeeeally love the fact that you didn't use a clickbait title such as "COMPLETE MELTDOWN! FAMILY CRISIS!". That says a lot about who you are as a person and that you keep it real. On other note, you look good even when you cry, girl. You go from sexy to adorable LOL.
@lucialapina92736 жыл бұрын
You are so right !! All of the youtubers would take a chance to change the title to make it more dramatic and get more views, I am so happy Tati doesnt think like that. She is so real.

If 60,000 of us want to give you a hug, and you would spend 12 hours a day receiving hugs, and each hug lasts less than a minute, you'd spend 3 months doing nothing but receiving our hugs. If you want to talk about something personal because you think it would make you feel better or because you just want to share, please do. But don't think you should share just because some of us want you to. You don't owe us that. The only thing I expect of you is to tell the truth, which you do, and it's one of the reasons I like your channel.

Never be sorry for crying. Never never ever. We love you so much and are here for you. Besides, there isn't one of us here who hasn't been there. It's refreshing and nice to see you being real and not trying to put on this facade that your life is all rainbows and butterflies, because nobodies life is like that! We all struggle with things and it's great to see you being open and honest, I hope this trend continues on this channel and we see more of the real you, because it's relatable and makes us feel better about hard times in OUR lives. ♥️

Thank you. You have such a platform to speak out about mental health. 2 months ago I was in such a deep depression and I tried to take my own life. I was not comfortable telling my family, the only place I felt was safe was here on KZbin. I made a video about it and the out pouring of support from my channel and community was amazing. Tati, I totally get it, been there, am there. I'm also a "fixer", which really doesn't benefit us because we feel like a failure, when we can't fix someone else. It's taken me far to many years to accept that I can't fix other people, but I can fix me. It's not selfish to love yourself first. Sending love back to you . You are not alone.....and neither am I, unless I choose to be❤-virtual hug.

Depression is real and mental illness needs to be addressed more along with suicide. It's an epidemic that no one wants to talk about. I really apreciate you and I watch your videos every day because truly you make me feel better.. I understand your feelings and reactions,because I have too and as you said is scary.. Scary af.. Your words are very real and I wanna tell you THANK YOU so much for your great advises and the reason that I take them from you is because I really feel you understand! In change for that, I'll say one thing.. Patience is the key and I say this because this is the only thing that helps me to keep going.. Patience to get healed like you said.. Tati I am almost 70 and am under the care of a psych doctor. Over the years my depression (coupled with everyday headaches and migraines ) has come and gone...couple months here some there. This time it's been a tough time, lasting almost 2 years. I'm done pretending and trying to take care of everyone else. Saving grace for me is prayer (those for me from family, friends, church family and those I pray for others). Embrace both the good days as well as the not so good. I find tears to be very cathartic and cleansing. I pray your friend has found some healing and that friend is very blessed to have you. As they say, life is fragile handle with prayer. Since I have been pretty much house bound of late, I am happy I've found your channel as I've been Tati binging lately. Thoroughly enjoy all I've seen so far.

A simple thumbs up is just NOT enough for today Tati... This video is everything and I'm truly thankful that you were brave enough to post it. Look at all those comments...you are a world changer, one life at a time. I cried right along with you and I didn't go hide in the bathroom when my husband noticed... I just looked at him and said "Tati. I just love Tati" and he replied "Yeah you do baby". Thank you Tati, we all love you!

It was hard to see her cry, I felt so bad that I couldn't do anything for her. But when she said she felt better talking to us I was so happy. Please don't think you should always be happy, positive and perfect for us to love you. For sure there are a lot of us who had bad days and watched your videos for distraction and felt better; so we definitely listen to you when you need it ❤️

I have had that same feeling! My s.o. has depression and some days he just feels so distant that all I want to do is cry FOR him. Not even because hes not talking to me,because it's not about me, but because I cant do anything for him and the one thing you want to do for people you love is help them and fix everything for them but youre just one person, and thats not how it works. Anyway, thanks for always being real Tati.

Aww this is sweet. From someone who has suffered from anxiety and depression my whole life you are doing the right thing. Loving him and supporting him as much as you possibly can even if it's from a distance. Just know he sees that you try and he appreciates you even if he cant always show it. Never give up on him and remember things will get better :)

Aw Tati, I was all ready to start commenting on eyeshadows and liquid lips. Now all I want to do is reach through the screen and give you a hug! I empathize pertaining to anxiety and depression! And huge kudos to you for finding your way back up and out when life starts to swallow you down deep and dark! So many of us are also so grateful to you for being a bright spot in our lives on days when they may be down for us too! Hugs to you Tati!💗💗💗 another day I’ll comment on grinding shadows and are there better dupes or liquid lips and the lasting wearability. Hang in here lady! Many of us out here “get it”! And we rally for you! 💗💗💗💋💋💋💐💐💐

Tati, thank you for sharing all parts of you with us. The good, the bad, all of it. I'm so sorry that your friend is going through a tough time, and I'm sorry that you're not able to reach them at this time. The best we can do right now is just pray. Pray for their pain and suffering to be taken away. Pray for depression to be taken away. And just continue to pray and let them know you're there. It's hard, coming from a dark place myself, it's a continuous struggle. But I thank God for the blessings in my life. My girls, grand babies, loved ones. They keep me going. You're a great friend, kind hearted and I pray nothing but greatness in your life. Hope you're having a great afternoon. Sending you hugs all the way from Chicago. 😊😘❤️

Tati...I'm literally sitting here sobbing. You're so strong, so beautiful, so incredibly inspirational and you don't even know it. I'm 17 and I've recently gotten out of the darkest point in my life. The anxiety attacks were daily, as was the self harm, thoughts that I'd be better off dead, and then my love for makeup grew. I had something I could put over my skin, blotchy from crying, and look at myself and see a different person. Who I wanted to be. That helped me get better, among other things, and now I'm that person with and without makeup. You were a massive part of that for me too. You and many other KZbinrs helped me see that makeup was an escape, and not one I should be ashamed of. I've just come out of an A Level exams (they're UK exams that get you into university) and it's the first exam I've ever done where I haven't had a panic attack. Things get better. We're all here for you, just like you're here for us. xo's

I'm a woman of 37 now and I have got a couple of very very rough years behind me. Therapy helped me a lot. Looking at myself, my actions, my thought patterns helped me a lot. But what helped me the most were the little things. Standing up for myself, learning to be proud and loving of myself, giving myself time and the push to put myself in 'the space'. Makeup was a huge help in that because it forced me to look myself in the eye, every morning and every night. I am now in the learning proces of helping others with all I've learned, it feels so good to know the bad days I had (and so many more like you and me) have made me so much richer for it so I can help others now. I absolutely LOVE this video and I have put it in my 'mental health' playlist for future pick-me-ups. Thank you Tati. ❤️

I’d take REAL content over PERFECT content any day. You’re a person and we are people. Don’t forget that there will always be someone who can relate to whatever you’re experiencing in the sea of people watching. And that’s for anyone reading this.

I almost couldn't watch this.. I have been that unreachable depressed person.. this makes me feel so bad for the people around me at that time. At the time I didn't think it affected other people.. once I came out of it I could see that it had, but thoughts work differently when you're depressed and at the time i didn't think anyone really cared..
@annaward40046 жыл бұрын
Sunny Roads girl I relate to this so much. When we are so depressed, we don’t have the capacity to see outside of ourself or our own pain. We are a fraction of ourselves in some ways. It’s definitely hard to think about those around us suffering while we suffer, but they LOVE us. I feel bad sometimes too, because I was so selfish and irrational. But being able to thank those that stood by me (now that I’m in a better place), has meant a lot to them! Keep being you and stay fabulous 💕

Anna Ward That is so true.. Your world becomes so small and you become so self-centered without even realising it.. It makes me so sad to look back and realise that I know nothing about the people I surrounded myself with at that time.. Its like you said, all I could see was my own pain and suffering at the time! But I can honestly say that I think I'm a better person for it today. I have thanked all the people that were there for me, even my ex boyfriend(he is a good guy) ❤

Heather Marie I'm so sorry to hear that.. I hope you have someone to talk to and something to look forward to! It honestly helps so much to force yourself to do "normal" things even if you don't feel like it. It can take a long time, and it's really hard, but I'm sure you can get through it ❤

Dear Tati, it only makes you more lovable that you are such a compassionate and emotional person. Had you been here, I would have had to hug you. Stay as wonderful as you are. Some hugs from Germany sends you Melanie And a little laugh on the edge ... Why do you even look so damned beautiful? When I cry I get red spots all over my face, my nose is red and running and my chin is shaking, like an epileptic seizure. SASSINESS !!!

Tati, I re-watched your video for the second time today. I find you so real and inspirational. I can connect with you in so many ways, and watching your videos makes me feel as though we are actually friends. I am someone who suffers from anxiety and have tried so many ways to overcome it over the years. However, I still just have some of "those days". I escape through makeup. Well, maybe escape is the wrong word; I love it and I'm so passionate about it that it gives me the pep I need when i'm feeling down. There is something about putting on a full face and glam and glitter that makes my day better. You are my favorite and I very much appreciate you keeping this video real and letting us into this part of your life. You are really something special! XOXO
