We're 2 rounds (4 races ) into F2 and take a guess who's plum last in the standings. I don't work for an F1 team, but I'm not sure that's the kind of driver that makes it to F1. (Edit) the season is over and she's the only driver that raced the full season to finish on absolutely 0 points.

@@leonardo8171 The Billionaire's son won the F3 championship and has a podium in F1 to his name, Giovanazzi came 2nd in F3 and also 2nd in F2. Both have had poor starts to their seasons just like Tatiana (Lance still has 3 points), but the difference is they've proven in the past that they have the skill required in F1. Tatiana has 0 impressive results in her career, that is why her poor start is not merely bad form, but just a demonstration of her lack of skill.

@@leonardo8171 with the current superlicence points system, no one who hasn't win F4+F3, classified in the top-3 of F2 standings or did two or three seasons in F2 with decent standing positions (around the top-5 or something) can make it to F1. Stroll won both F4 and F3 and Giovinazzi finished second in F2. Calderon is no way near to their results (even if she deserved to be second-last in the standing right now, as Raghunathan is on another level of being slow).

@@kevinhanandi and yet rags finished nthe season ahead of Tatiana with 1 point. Tatiana finished dead last with no points. In 2020 she contested full time in super formula ( she missed two rounds to focus in her le mans campaign which was also sorta kinda unremarkable ) and finished also the last full timer with no points. Racing in top disciplines two years not scoring a single point is alarming

It saddens me to think that the main draw of her going to f1 is the fact she’s a woman. If you look at her as a driver in F2, she isn’t very good.

Exactly. There are plenty of people out there, who may not have the cash required ( which is still something sad in Motorsport, having the immense talent but not cash) and they deserve f3, f2 and even f1 seats, because of their talent. Calderon is nowhere near as fast. Spent three seasons in gp3 (f3) from 2016 to 2018 with highest championship finish in 18th place without points. And got promoted to f2 a seat she didn't deserve. She spent a whole year in f2 (2019) finishing dead last in the standings, again without scoring a point. She got beaten by the greatest driver for all the wrong reasons 😂 Mahaveer Raghunathan who surprisingly scored a point in Monza.
