The sign of a true professional is keeping a straight face while playing a red piano on a stage set like that.

The red piano is insignificant to the both Angel & Monster slaying it ....Simply stunning !!!

That's a real queen & some Rach's notes are climbing on the walls, while others are weeping somewhere in the audience

Quanto ci mancano la Nikolayeva, Richter, Gilels, Arrau, Gould, Anda, Lipatti, Benedetti Michelangeli.

Would this be as wonderful on a Black concert grand as on this RED one? She makes it sing none the less

If I ever went to someones party and they had a piano I'd always start this in the campiest way possible and after the first three chords I'd feign exhaustion and place the back of my hand against my forehead saying "Oh, please, no. I can't. It's just too much"
@ADGO8 жыл бұрын
haha :) Tatiana should have tried that, as she basically killed the camp mood of this dancing / singing festival when she started to play :)

ADGO Aye, from the look on some of their faces at the end they seem to be thinking "Am I supposed to be happy now? What's happening?"

She plays this piece completely differently than Rachmaninoff, or even his good friend Hofmann. Interesting.

Could you give some insight in what makes them different ?

orrible red piano and disastric accordation!!

the only thing that is "disastric" here is your English.
@davidbutterworth52584 жыл бұрын
What's wrong with the red piano? It adds a splash of colour and is more interesting than all the boring funereal looking black ones which seem to dominate the concert stage.
