Tatra National Park POLAND. In this episode we experience Poland in Winter. We visit the Tatra National Park and get the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch, a peak of the Tatra Mountains in southern Poland. We also hike to Strążyska Valley in search a beautiful waterfall. The Tatra National Park is definitely one of favourite places in Poland. A true winter paradise. If you love the outdoors then this is the place for you.

I'm very glad you liked Poland. Its a pity weather wasn't so good at the top. Have a good way back home and come back on summer. I recommend you also take a trip arround Tatras, possible by car in one day. Worth to see them from Slovakian side, see Tatrzańska Łomnica, The peak, you can get a cable car on top as well, or climb Rysy on summer. Tatras are very unspoilt due to the national park restrictions, so this area looks very wild and fresh on summer.

Someone told me a story that he took a few guys to ski down from Kasprowy Wierch. On the first day which was probably similar to the day you just experienced they went down with no problem. The next day went up again and it was a clear day. The guys who made it fine the day before were too afraid to ski down on a clear day since they could see all the way down.

Another thing is, that you guys would need to spend at least a year in Poland to get to know it, but that wouldn't be 100% anyway. Best thing about our country is that we've got everything there: mountains, lakes, sea, small desert, big flat fields, really big forests that you can't find anywhere else in Europe and those forests are full of wildlife, rivers full of fish that you can take home and eat and lots more. Seroiusly, come for longer stay, give yourselves those 3 months in summer and come to see more! You'll love it even more! Lots of hugs, God bless you ❤

There was this one time I went with group of my friends to the very top of Kasprowy and decided to slide down on my backpack. I gained so much speed that I didn’t know how to stop and started going down in direction of that ski slope. I rolled on my belly and tried to brake sticking fingers in ice. I lost few nails doing it and my wife calls me clever boy ever since😂

This is one of my favorite places ; I would love to live there ! Not this season or last, but the two seasons before I was out there ski instructing, & hope to be back next season to teach skiing love it !! I was ski instructing where you went skiing I use to meet my clients Infront of the ; Hotel Bania !! Did you have while you were staying in the Hotel Bania; Have the Hot Chocolate; it's amazing,if you go back to the hotel again in the future try it with a shot of Cointreau; it takes it to another level !!!! Lastly I skied down that steep slope many times that you went up to in the cable car at the top looking down ! That was also a snowy day ❄️🌨️🌨️🎿⛷️ I'm so glad you loved your time in Zakopane it's a "Magic place " Great food, drinks,people & scenery ! Lovely accommodation. 👌👍❤️⛷️🎿🌨️🌨️🌨️❄️🎄🍕🍰🍻

1. It is a pity that instead of the breathtaking view of Tatra Mountains on Kasprowy Wierch you could see only a "white hell of snow and clouds". Now you have a good reason to come back in summer when the weather is different ;) 2. That frozen waterfall was amazing! 3. Yes, there is a cross on the top of Giewont peak. There is a very similar thing in Bray, Ireland ;)

Come to Zakopane in the summer, and then go to Kasprowy Wierch on your feet (you are in shape, so it won't be a problem - really), you will be honestly satisfied.

Ahh just after Kościelisko Valley, Strążysko is my favorite go to hike when I'm in Zakopane. It's beautiful every season. During summer it's so great to cool down in and have a little picnic by the brook. Thank you so much for all of those amazing videos ☺️

It is great to get to know your point of view on our Poland. If you visit us again in the summer, I suggest you a trip to the Kościelisko Valley. A journey into the depths of the earth, i.e. exploring caves. Mroźna Cave (should be open in spring - admission paid), Raptawicka Cave and the Mylna Cave right next to it (self-guided tour, however you should prepare yourself accordingly). And in Warsaw the snow melted weeks ago. :( As one of those who recommended visiting Kasprowy Wierch on a clear day, I can say: I am sorry for the blizzard, but at least you have a good reason to visit Poland again. Summers in Poland are usually MUCH, MUCH warmer than in Ireland. :) The mountains look beutiful also in autumn, in September or early October. BTW, the Polish "ch" in "Wierch" is pronounced a bit like "h" in English "home" (but it`s more audible) or "ch" in Scottish "Loch Ness" (but it`s weaker). In Polish, the first sound of in English "she" would be spelled as "sz" and the first sound in the English "change" - as "cz".

Great to watch you Guys, seems you need to buy new snow boots for the next winter visit to Zakopane. Anyway Spring/Summer is also quite nice to explore Zakopane or maybe to be precise to explore Tatra mountians.

Another delightful watch, although I would of been very unnerved to be at the top of Kasprowy Wierch in those conditions. I guess its impossible, but that feeling you might lose your footing and be blown off the mountain is not a pleasant one. lol. See you back in Krakow!
