I always make aluminum threaded studs and thread them into those cover holes and saw them up flush and drill and tap them the proper size it's a lot easier than welding them up

Uh....oh.....I just realized I'm a "dumb ass"....I've been wearing my Tatro Machine T-shirts backwards, with the big logo on my back. Not my fault though because they arrived without any instruction sheet! Just one more thing I've learned from watching these videos!!! Great vids keep em coming please!

If they used a cheap hone on the guides they can be the right diameter or even loose, but if the hole is not straight.... Straight ream is the cheap route but won't leave a the cross-hatch finish for lubrication the sunnen can. Never can understand how someone can put $2000 of bling on a $10,000+ bike but get tight fisted about spending a few extra hundred making sure their bike isn't just a stationary roadside attraction.

mostly crane cams springs because i have hundreds of them. i also use manley, andrews and s&s. for racing i use special race springs. tatro
