I bought that Tibodyn 75/140 oil last year because I saw you put it in Alans Fatboy, I have a 2010 Softail and must say it shifts smooooth...... As far as oil goes I purchased the Maxima 20/50 synthetic, I guess I’ll use it then next oil change I’ll try the Tribodyn

everything was good until i found out i had to shake the tribodyn well before use or in this case splitting it up. my eyeball are calibrated so i don't need all that fancy measuring crap. tatro

Hello Tatro I have a question on my 45" servicar concerning the speed I know they are designed to go slow but mine feels to slow? I have a 27t sprocket and 17t trans sprocket with 15" rear wheels it cruises around 35-40 mph just nice and smooth but... It's to slow on the road. It has a 100p primary chain I want to put a 31t sprocket on it and see how that works. Now being you know way more than me I'm hoping you can tell me exactly what I need to do rather than spend money and experiencing on my own. What is your thought on updating my motor sprocket to achieve more speed 45-50mph would be nice to ride on the roads here in Calimesa, Ca. Thank you for your advice. I have one leg I lost it up to my hip 30 years ago I owned this bike for all those years it's always been torn down 29 years of Its life. I am now 59 years old and wanting to ride it. I'm adding electric start to it right now the motor is a 1964 GE I just bought a 64 electric start starter system for it in cherry condition. Thank you Ray Medrano Calimesa, Ca. 92320

you did not say what size rear tires you are using. tall and shiny is the way to go. fat car tires will kill your speed. each tooth is worth about 5mph on top speed if you can pull the gearing. 31 tooth is a big jump. you will be needing more power. put a bigger venturi in your carb and advance the ignition timing 4 degrees to get some extra power. the manifold will need some opening up too. installing a mikuin carb or the 1-1/4" linkert carb set-up would be the best. i nice big oil cooler and filter will help cool the motor down alot. aluminum heads will help all around also. tatro

Ok Tatro I found bigger and longer 45" intake manifold I bought that it's on its way. Now I'm trying to get my hands on a M-88 linkert that's the one I think I need. it's the only one made for the 45" with 1 1/4" throat I know it needs rebuilding if I can get the funds and buy it. I have 6 to 1 aluminum heads on the motor now. I will advance the timing 4 degrees. I have a sportster oil cooler and evo filter on it. My trike is not here at the moment so I'm not sure what size tires I have on it at the moment. I will update you on tire size later. Thank you for all your help. I'm wondering if by any chance would you have a extra M-88 laying around lol? I'm trying to sell what ever I can to buy one. I really want to ride my trike it's my wheelchair!
