You should do a video or series of the business side os tattooing. How you started as an entrepreneur in the field of tattooing. What kind of tips can you give to upcoming artists in tattooing as far as starting up after being an apprentice transitioning into owning your own shop.

Can you do a video how you draw a large freehand piece on a person? Like the back, thigh, full arm, etc. How you would place things compositionally and drawing it step by step- that would be awesome! Id also love to see more procreate art tutorials as well

Hey thanks for this! I’ve done a few tattoos throughout the years- 24 year piercer here- but just recently thought about adding tattooing to my resume- thanks for your humbleness also- it’s a rarity in this business

Thanks to you I am gaining valuable knowledge about tattooing. In my country, no one wants to reveal the secrets of the profession or it is very expensive. I'm just starting to tattoo and you help me a lot, thank you!

I have only done handpoking and one small once with a friend's machine. I don't yet have my own machine but I'm saving up for one. Great videos 😊👍🏽

Great Job Brandon. I'm a year into my apprenticeship and learned all these things. I'd like to see something about the business end of dealing with communication. You mention your FB page set up which is a great idea but I have people contact me on FB, Email, Instagram, text, my regular phone, google voice, etc., and it's hard to keep track of it all. Sometimes I have to figure out how to get back to somebody because I can't remember how they contacted me! Plus I use my own phone, Ipad, laptop and desktop computer to communicate making it even more confusing! Thanks Man, Keep it up!

Videos on real clients with instructions from setting up before to why you did the lining in such way, to the "final wipe" rereading that iguess im asking for alot especially finding a camera man/angle thats not in your way lol, but maybe you and the crew could perfect the idea!

A friend of mine recently passed away.. I also found out some not so awesome news about my mom… those on top of a plethora of other “things” making life the opposite of fun right now… anyway… I’m struggling to find motivation and seem to be tapped out on creativity. What kinds of things do you do to either keep or kick start motivation/creativity?
@Rauta.tattoo2 жыл бұрын
It’s not my place to give advice, but maybe you need to let yourself grieve and not force yourself to be creative because it sounds like you’re burnt out 😞 however, work can distract from sad thoughts, so you can also just sit down and copy someone’s work or draw anything that comes to mind for 30-60 minutes a day. The main thing is to not pressure yourself because you already going through a lot. It’s important to be kind ❤ stay strong. My father had an operation last week and I couldn’t stop worrying before it, sitting down and drawing helped a lot to distract myself.

When I start working on something, I feel like “getting in the zone” takes about an hour and so your creativity comes naturally
@Rob_0_Pierce2 жыл бұрын
@@Rauta.tattoo thanks man. I really appreciate the kind words and that is actually really solid advice. Getting so deep into a funk is hard to get out of.. but as cliche as it sounds, taking that 1st step is the most important. Thanks dude! :)

I would recommend an easier area to start out. Just because it can be hard to tattoo that area. But just watch your depth and it would be fine

Can you make a video on when you have an idea in your head then you go to draw it out but don’t know where the hell to start. That shot happens to me all the time & I end up going nowhere with my ideas 😂 it sucks
@Artishian12 жыл бұрын
Not trying to intrude on your question but for me personally I have millions of ideas going through my head every second. What works for me is I sketched down between 5 and 10 random ideas. Then I can either collaborate them together or focus on one. I also would suggest drawing extremely lightly and defining an areas as you go, that way if you want to make changes throughout the idea you pretty much have the free will without harsh lines left behind. I would also suggest not getting too attached to a drawing too early that way if you want to change it when further into your artwork it's not so bad and you can save it to draw later or play with later and recreate the idea and then definitely put your heart into it.
