I will buy my first tattoo machine soon. Im thinking about getting the inkjecta flite nano. I Will buy some fake skins to practice. Im only interesten in practicing realism. Do you think its a good idea to straight ahead dive in some portraits? Or do you think its best to first do some other style because its easier but i already know I will never tattoo that Ever.

When doing my work, my ink is super light after wipe off. I feel I'm deep enough and don't rush thru my lines. Is it cheap paint, wrong skins, not the correct needle? It's definitely discouraging! 🤦🏻♂️

I am a total beginner and I started yesterday to practice tattooing on fake skin. I love to watch these kinds of vids because I don't want to cause a blowout.

Lmaooo i definitely agree with the fingers for sure. I have my knuckles, the sides of my fingers with words, & numbers near my nails. The worst. Felt like several paper cuts at once. 😅 i have three stars on my throat where i had a dermal. I had a keloid that i covered up. Now somehow i managed to get another a little below it, but never had a dermal there. Lmao! It was like, “oh? You think you’re going to get rid of me??? Okay… I’ll just move locations then, not a problem.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i want my butt cheeks tatted. 😅 my worst were my fingers, my side stomach from armpit to my hip to below my belt line in the middle, & my middle outter leg. 😅

I tried fake skin. Is so bad. I ordered a Tattoo kit for my 15yo daughter, she loves it, but fake skins are rough. So before I let her try, I tried on my own leg. Much easier than fake skin

Me who started on my arm and already a full sleeve into tatting myself 🙄😬 i feel like the biggest discovery for me is forcing yourself to take your time and take pride in the work which is harder to do than say because fact is as the pain sets in it starts to become a turn off and like you were saying you start to rush and jack up needle depths n stuff.

I just did my first self tattoo after graduating from fake skin and pork belly. It was on my calf. I have a few spots to touch up to touch up, but I'm waiting for what I've got so far to heal so I don't overwork the skin. This was my 3rd time tattooing skin with scar tissue. (I forgot it was there till I was most of the way done-) But I think for how many scars are in the area I chose, I did pretty decent. But this did give me some really important tips I'll implement when I touch up and retouch where I went

When i put a stencil on and peel off the white paper, the purple stencil ink stays on... but in like 15 minutes the purple stencil ink on the skin begin to blur out, or spread out into the skin, making small details hard to see or making close purple stencil lines look like they are merged together. What am i doing wrong? There seem to be no videos at all about this issue. Is anyone else running into the same problem? Please help.

How long do i wait to start working on the stenciled fake skin?
@Tattooing101Күн бұрын
You will want to wait 24 hours after placing the stencil to tattoo it so it can fully dry.

Can you get into tattoo artistry later in life? I went to school for art, but left the advertising industry to teach martial arts. Sometimes I think about going back to art, but would like to do it in a more personalized way.

Do it for fun! Look at his videos about cheap gear as a hobby. He doesnt reccommend any of the amazon machines/ink other than Dynamic black ink to be purchased from there but its a fun way to dip your toes into it. Im in grad school for IT work, no background in art but I love art. Got the machine a month ago and gave myself a couple lines and dots on my hand and now a one inch diamond star on my thigh. Is it good? No. But its fun.🤣

Hey man, im loving all the content. I've got a question i live in Tennessee and already know how to tattoo do is still need to do an apprenticeship for one year for my license and I seen on your website that in the state of Tennessee, individual tattoo artists do not need a state tattoo license, but they do need to register with their local health department. How does that work and what do I do to do this

Bare hands are more hygienist then gloves wtf would you say gloves are cleaner
@Tattooing1016 күн бұрын
Even if you wash your hands, wearing disposable gloves is safer. Hands can still carry bacteria, oils, or tiny particles that aren’t fully removed by washing. Gloves give that extra layer of protection, keeping your tattoo as clean as possible during healing.
@chanelatkinson79216 күн бұрын
Then tell me why people whobwork in the food industry do not wear gloves while preparing food ? See washing hands is much safer then just putting a glove on
