i like the way you talk, its light and peaceful, if you talk to your costumers like that I can believe they are very relaxed with you, I feel like atm a lot of artists are already kinda falling off, they say there are to manny artists but I think to manny are just not wanting to go that extra mile to improve. i think to many artists have joined who are thinking they have to sit on a cozy chair, I hope however the business goes up again,because after this long of a slow period, I even find myself a bit in a slum and even getting more difficult to find motivation, and that despite that I really like tattooing

Badass tattoo. Ive only been tattooong for 3 years, but i really enjoy my craft. Its been a slow struggle but the work has paid off for me lately. Im slowly working on portraits in my spare time. I do have a question though. Ive always had problems getting the texture in hair down correctly. Sometimes it looks good sometimes it doesnt. What can i do to help make hair look more hairlike if that makes any sense at all?

I disagree with your life perspective of everything happens for a reason. But this doesnt matter. My tattooing journey started 35 years ago. A lot of things happened between then and now. I dont have the luxury of being around talented BnG artists like yourself. KZbin has filled the void best it can. Ive watched you for a few years and envy you and your level of skill. At 56, my time is limited in the tattooing craft. I aspire to become as good as i can before i go. Thank you for sharing and exhibiting a friendly humble attitude.
@richclips71746 ай бұрын
It’s never too late man. You can start now. Make some videos yourself at 56, you have tips and tricks that people need to know and nobody is willing. You still have a calling. No need to envy man. Just do what you do best and have fun wit it

So just to help you out or any one looking to work at a shop, if you draw up some good artwork, like he just showed, I am sure with 30 complete pages of very good and completed art work, any tattoo shop near you will either take you in Or they will point you in the right direction. Having a professional and completed looking portfolio showing your talent is the key to getting your foot in the door. When I say complete I mean no simple sketches or unfinished work or dodols. They will want to see the best you can bring. 2nd tip ALWAYS USE REFERENCE! this means images on Pinterest, Google or photos you took. Look for clear images with good photography lighting, good color images and try to copy what you see, NOT OTHER PPLS DRAWINGS. Tracing will help with road maps for when you tattoo, but also learn to draw what you see freehand. Both ways will help in the future. 3rd tip is if the first portfolio didn't get you in any shop and you hit like 15 to 20 shops then you need to study some more and draw another 20- 30 completed drawings. You will notice that you'll pick up techniques from KZbin videos etc. Look at materials some of the best drawing artist use on Instagram or KZbin. 4th is try drawing things out of your comfort zone, because in tattooing thats what you will most likely be tattooing in the beginning. Anything and eveything that walks in will be different. The shop will give you small tasks and the ones they don't want to do. So, get comfterable being uncomfortable 😏 When you get in a shop with my advice let me know, so I can do the same 😂
