thank you for being open about the fact that not all of your tattoos have meaning! people tend to be really set on the fact that all tattoos need to have a deep personal meaning, but they don’t. if you think something is cool and want it on you, that’s all that matters!

Yes, that’s called not being able to resist impulsivity and that is not a really a great trait to display. This inability will give a discerning person all kinds of clues about the personality involved. You might think that ‘whatever feels right at the moment - just do it’ as promoted on all the media is a good way to go, but consider what a partner in a relationship will have to expect from a women who clearly has a weakness to avoid impulsive behaviour. For that reason alone most quality guys will unfortunately not seriously be able to consider women with tattoos as a long term prospects .... just sayin’ ;-)

@@ReformedWhiteKnight good thing people are allowed to have different opinions.
@ReformedWhiteKnight4 жыл бұрын
Thatblvckhippie - I had not even listened to the video at the time I wrote my comment, it was just my first impressions and unfortunately it turned out way worse than I thought... parental neglect, heavy drug addictions, promiscuity, etc. and most likely single mother upbringing (incl. everything that this brings, like usually frequent change of sexual partners), little input from the father as a role model ... The stories become very predictable unfortunately. The blame is to find in childhood neglect by the parents. Going to parties and getting heigh with 15 on cocaine is all one needs to know :-/ I feel very sorry for what happened to her. All this leads to impulsivity as can be seen with the taking of drugs and early engagement in sex and this is still the same with tattoos. She has overcome the drug addicting which is admirable, but the addiction to tattoos for external validation and the involved impulsivity remains to a degree. She should commit to therapy and see whether the urge for tattoos still remains the same and continue afterwards if she still feels like it. To wanting to put tattoos with the message like ‘No half Measures’ on the neck still talks volumes and she should resist for the sake of her daughter who might be made to feel very uncomfortable by things like that in her future. I base my opinions on experience. In mine and thousands of others who went through similar things. I had a girl quite a bit like her. I am still sad (even though it’s three years ago) and I know that a neglecting mother and absent father are to blame for the largest part for what became of her.... I still wish and pray she can turn it around and can live a life like God had thought it out for her to be! ;-)

I so agree that you never know what someone is going threw. Couple years ago my daughter and I were homeless during the holiday season in the middle of a snow storm. There was no shelters open for us. People have no idea. I felt like the worst mother in the world. I got very sick and became disabled and can no longer work. Housing took a couple years to come threw. I finally have a tiny place for my daughter and I but there’s no extra money for ANYTHING. I am still unable to work. We often have to go without the basics. I will go without eating often just to be able to get my daughter a little something. I live in a big city and although there is a lot of resources there is a very long line for them and sometimes it’s just the luck of the draw. People would look right threw us if they saw us sleeping in the car during the ice and snow storm. Some day things will change for us and when that time comes I will be watching for that single mother who is down on her luck and be able to do something for her so she doesn’t feel as bad as I did when my daughter and I were cold and hungry with now warm bed to sleep in.

My daughter and I (years ago) saw a homeless man on the side of the street. We went to the grocery store, bought a bagged lunch and went back to give it to him. He through it back at us and said “I just need money bitch” ( my daughter was 8 at the time). Now the only thing I’ll do is ask homeless outside Starbucks in philly if they want coffee and a food item.

You are sooo awesome...I always buy stuff and hand it out to the homeless...from just bottled water when it hot, food, and even money. most people just assume there crack heads and they will just use the money for drugs but I don’t care...I came out of a bank one time and there was two guys that had signs that said will work for food. I told them to get in my truck and gave them both a job at my company...they worked hard and did a good job so I gave them a couple hundred bucks and told them to be back at 7:00am the next day....nope they never came back. I was homeless years ago and believe that if you wake up everyday and work that everything else has a way of working out....I have never lost faith in the homeless because of my past...a bottle of water when it’s blazing hot out will go along way....Again you are amazing 😜.

My mom took me to her tattooer friend to get my first tattoo it was a shitty nautical star on my stomach/hip and then right after I was like omg I need another one so my mom and I got matching 3leaf clovers because we have a lot of Irish in us and the reason it's a 3leaf clover is because I was like "oh I'm not lucky so a 4leaf clover won't help" lol. I regret every tattoo that I got/did myself before I was 18. They are all garbage or I just don't like them because they aren't relevant to me anymore.

I literally think of things at night before I go to sleep that I have that I don't need that I can go give out to them. Cuz it's starting to get cold here and what's known as a "tent city" in the Minneapolis/st. Paul area is no joke and it's super sad. They need all the help they can get but I know resources are limited especially since the pandemic.
