I am laughing as I remember getting a tattoo with my daughter. We did a mother/ daughter bonding and got matching shamrocks on the bottom side of our legs. My husband was so upset with me because we did it on a whim. I went first because I was afraid I would back out. Danielle you talked almost during the entire time and I tried holding my breath! lol I am a diabetic so my healing took a bit longer than my daughter’s. I cherish that day and sometimes when you do things without thinking it could be a bad choice. I am so grateful for our 🍀. We went to a reputable artist and he gave us after care instructions including a topical ointment. $$$ , Credit Card! 😪

I went for a simple breast cancer ribbon and came back with a fairy with breast cancer wings, my husband was so angry, he doesn't like tattoos at all lol, it's on the top of my foot. I'm not sorry I did it and he hasn't mentioned it since. It has been 15 years ago. 😅

Our different cultures are interesting, in the white culture, a boyfriend/girlfriend can live in the white parents house of her girlfriend or boyfriend, and even sleep over. In my culture, we don't even have words for boyfriend or girlfriend, they don't exist until things are done the right way. In the white culture, an older woman above her forties gets a tattoo, imagine when you are in your eighties and you have a tattoo, what will you teach great grand children?
