You do not need to understand Lingala to enjoy Verkys wonderful beats. The harmony in the saxophone, guitar and voice is simply unequalled

In Colombia (South America) we also listen to these songs, we don't understand the language, but we still enjoy the rhythm of Verckys Veve and Pepe Kalle.

In Verkys, many of us find solace in a sophisticated musical arrangements that we simply admired despite the age. This song brings the powess of the other giants, Pepe Kalle Yampanya with a great possibility of The Prince Youlou Mabiala. It's breath taking as we chan through this life. The saxophone tunes from Verkys still remain a hallmark of the best from his peers. Dr. Ogeto International

Allan Muleji Verckys and Nyoka Longo, broke away from TPOK,Verckys formed his band,Orch.Veve while Nyoka Longo formed the mighty Zaiko Langalanga(the original-Nkolo Mboko).Verckys came from a wealthy family, thus the name Patron, coz of the several bands he used to,kind of "sponsor".He also had a recording studio,if I'm not wrong.
