On December 11, I've performed a small ballet choreography on stage for the very first time in my life. In this vlog, I wanna share with you why everything is possible and why you should never stop chasing your dreams!
Special thanks to our ballet teacher Sándor Rácz, Maria and Julia!

Thank you to all of you who posted such lovely comments! I feel so blessed and grateful! Also thank you to my new subscribers! To the few people who wonder why I didn’t show the entire performance. There’s a thing called artistic property. Also, the video hasn’t been released yet. I do not have permission to show the whole thing, but I can show some of the photos taken there. Of course I picked the best ones, I’m not really proud of my mediocre grand jeté. 😅 but I wouldn’t mind showing you that as well. Parts of the rehearsal of the choreography are in this video. The point of this video was not to show you an entire ballet gala, but to inspire all of you lovely dreamers to go after your dreams, no matter what! Whether you doubt yourself or other people doubt you and question everything you do. You just keep going! Much love, Tatyana ♥️

Beautiful young lady!! Are the grand jetes something to learn in younger years? Mine weren't the best either. I used to give it so much thought but I dismissed after awhile. My grand jetes needed work but my arabesque - beautiful !

Dear Tatyana, it is amazing what you have done! I have done a easy contemporary ballet coreography last year and I know how much work and discipline one needs to get little improvements! Keep going! I want to continue and be a more flexible ballerina at 50 years! If you want to share, it would be great to know how many hours per week have you been training at studio and at home.

I'm 26- just last night, I was crying my heart out, regretting that I didn't learn ballet and violin as a child. I thought that if I just started earlier, I'd be stellar by now. I wondered what would be the point of starting now-- but your video was SO beautifully inspirational and like a divine message of encouragement to me. Thank you so much. The studio I teach at isn’t a “pre-professional” studio but I believe regardless of what ability you are, age you are, or your reason for dancing - everyone deserves the same level of training and the same care and attention from their teacher. I just had my ultimate dream come true. I was in ballet from 6 until a teenager. I was also competing in Figure Skating. My skating coach said Pointe would stiffen up my knees for skating. So I shouldn't do both. So I gave up Pointe. Which I didn't want to do. So at 55 I finally danced in a Professional Ballet the Nutcracker in the Party Scene as the Russian Mother. It was the most magical special moments of my life. You're absolutely right!!! Keep dreaming, they do come true. I Loved Your Dancing and You. I started learning ballet the same age as you. I am 53 now, still doing it. I go to class 6-7 days a week. I have studied jazz and modern techniques for 12 years maybe. I've had the most amazing teachers - the biggest ballet stars in Bulgaria. Been on stage quite a lot, including at the National Opera House in Sofia. I am totally aware I can never be as good as someone who has started early and has been trained professionally. And yes - there was a lot of "negative clatter", as you put it. What I realized is that good technique is not as vitally important for an amazing performance as I had previously thought. It is your heart and soul, your art, that will be appreciated at the end of the day ❤️ Don't stop dancing!

I started ballet in my 20’s and even made it en pointe. We had several recitals and I even got a character role once with a professional ballet company. You just never know until you try. It was never really my goal to perform but just to be able to dance and look like I knew what I was doing. I accomplished my mission. I’m 38 now also and I still keep my leotards just in case I decide to try it again. 😊

I really needed this today. I started figure skating almost a year ago, and since I’ve started as an adult with no strength, flexibility, or even dance experience, it’s been really hard especially since I haven’t taken proper lessons and can’t afford a coach. I’ve been teaching myself and learning as I go with videos and asking friends for advice. Sometimes I get discouraged, and it’s hard not to compare myself to the great skaters, but I’ve made a lot of progress this year, and I have to be kind to myself. Because against all odds, I decided to follow my dream. I used to live in an area where there was really only one ice rink around and it was way too expensive even for public skating. Now I’m fortunate enough to live where there are at least five within a thirty minute radius ❤️ Your dancing is beautiful!

I really enjoyed this. You are much better than you know. You have a wonderful teacher, he moves with grace. I think for teachers, it doesn't matter at what level you are at, their interest is to see where each dancer is vulnerable and help them get strong, and that goes from beginner to professional. I joined a latin dance troupe when I was 40, we performed regularly, I learned so much about being on stage. Now I'm working on singing and I'm 63. So, never too late. Congratulations. I’ve always been so fascinated of ballet and there were never any close ballet classes near me growing up so no one in my city never did ballet only the sports that they offered in school. Now I’m 23 and one of my biggest regrets is not asking my parents to take me to ballet classes. Even though the classes are far I know that my parents would have tried their best to take me. Now that I am older I still have that dream to do ballet but I always feel self conscious about it. By watching your video and other people’s videos who also started late gives me the confidence to just go for it. I know that I’ll never be as great as professional ballerinas but it’s just the idea of doing ballet that makes me happy.

Now I take class four times a week and it's my favorite part of my day. Even if I'm not a great dancer I can embody virtues of joy and health, and that's still a valuable thing.

Thsi made me so happy. I am a professional dancer but I still have such a long way to go. I started training at 21 which is considered very old in the dance world. But this video inspired me so much because the point of any dance style is to be in community with others moving together. Your love for ballet just flows out of the screen. It’s so refreshing. You have more heart than 90% of the perfect technique bun heads I encounter. I will come back to this video often to remember what Its all about ❤ and btw you have beautiful lines.

This brought me to tears. I’m about to be 19 but I started dance at 14.. I quit at 17 although it’s been my passion for as long as I could remember. I had multiple dance teachers.. some I’m grateful for but others weren’t supportive at all.. they constantly made it clear to me that I could never be any good because I was already too old.. you looked so beautiful in your performance. Thank you for reminding me that as long as I have my passion I am good enough and can only get better.

I danced from 7 to 13 , even with BTA for thier nutcracker performance for 4 years. Went back when I was 23 for a year and danced at a studio with my daughter when she was 3. Moved and my previous dance teacher actually moved to where I live now! I'm 38 and starting back up again! Age doesn't matter to me, I'm doing this for me as I need dance in my life 💖 🩰 🎶

This video is a message that came to me at such a weird time in my life. In august I finished 8+ years of schooling and I’m glad it’s over but truth be told I always had a voice inside me always wishing I had followed a different path. Apart of me always wanted to be a ballerina since I was very little but i wasn’t allowed since it wasn’t law or medical school and now that I’m 28 I figured it was too late for me but thank you for giving me the push and courage I didn’t know I needed to follow my own dreams.

This was so incredibly encouraging; Thank you. I will be 31 in February and I have so many dreams I've been slowly working towards that have yet come to pass. And, I don't want to give up on them. Believing that dreams are still possible at this age, especially as a woman is sometimes difficult. I've heard so many say that women peak in our 20's and by 30 it's downhill. I don't want to believe that. Thank you for this inspiration! Good luck on your journey to follow your dreams. God Bless!

Tatiana, THANK YOU SO MUCH for such an inspiring and motivating video! I’m an amateur baller dancer myself, started in summer 2021 and I’m in love with the ballet just like you. I’m 23, from St.Petersburg and you know since it’s a kinda Russian ballet capital here are plenty of opportunities for taking ballet classes from best teachers! PLEASE, make more videos like that, if really keen on watching as I dream myself or dancing in stage one day! And you’re just awesome, please keep going!

Thank you for this video! I t has really helped me with my motivation. I preformed when I was 6-9 with a group twice my age because I was too advanced for the little kids classes. Recently I started ballet again after 10 years away with the dream to preform in the nutcracker, I'm only able to do one class a week because the studio does not offer a class for my age group more then twice a week and the second one is full, so I spend and hour every day working by myself at home. My instructor was blown away by my progress and skill within a month and refused to believe I hadn't danced in 10 years. I am so happy that this year I will be the first person ever from my studio to preform as Clara, not en pointe. Dreams truly can come true if you put in the dedication and work. Now the goal is to preform sugar plum once I am en pointe.

Honestly, what your teacher said and what you've achieved has given me hope that I've not had for around 15 years now. I'm 37 and have a connective tissue syndrome called EDS, no one helped me when my mobility started getting bad and now I'm currently in a wheelchair trying to physio myself back into a better body health. I used to dance when I was a kid and damn I miss it. I feel like if I had a teacher like that waiting for me I would have such motivation to keep going and who knows, maybe I would achieve my dreams too :) the fact you've achieved this performance and become a graceful looking dancer with such expressive arms at our age is amazing, keep feeling that music because you are wonderful. Xx

I wasn’t allowed to take ballet when I was a child. I have always been mesmerized by ballet my whole life, starting right after I saw a dancer practicing on her own in a studio once when I was 6 or 7. So as an adult in my late 20’s I enrolled in a school; took class 5x a week and performed in many performances. It was a dream come true and I still have so many happy memories. Sadly, I now live in a place with no ballet at all. 😢

Dear Tatyana, thank you beyond words for making this video! I nearly cried because this video has transformed a new meaning of life for me and redefining my dreams. Bless your teacher, Sandor Racz, for his phenomenal teaching. I wish more teachers had a perspective like him, where there is no good/bad but simply those who want to train and keep learning and growing. Your video came to me at a perfect time as I can compare myself quite often, making me hesitate to follow a dream. I wish growing up I had more resources and financial support to do something so amazing. When I see you having the opportunity to do ballet at a later age and following your dreams, it makes me feel less worried about following my dreams later in life. In fact, it makes me more hopeful and more inspired to do so. Thank you very much!♥

First of all, I couldn't help but notice how insanely beautiful you are. Secondly, this is inspiring on a whole new level. I have joint and spinal problems and I've wanted to dance since I was 12. I'm 25 now and I'm working on getting my body into better physical condition so that I can learn ballet safely. I saw a 98 year old woman performing the dying swan on pointe and I cried because I thought that if she could dance so beautifully then so could I, after all what 98 year old doesn't have joint and back problems?. Ballet is my passion and I will learn, thank you for bringing hope to those of us with unrealized dreams.

Thank you for sharing this. Your story is so very inspiring to me (a 40 year old who picked up music in her mid-late 30s). What a sweet man your instructor is. I too wanted to try ballet at your age. I just completed my master's in social work, wanted to add nursing to my repertoire of skills, and ballet was always at the back of my mind. My father ridiculed it while I was growing up with jokes. But I danced daily anyway from age 12 onwards. However, in the midst of all my professional degrees didn't think my efforts would be appreciated in dance. I applaud you for doing it and finding new and wonderful friends to help you along your journey. You are all beautiful.

I love this. I have always said I would have loved to be a ballet dancer. I started figure skating at 23 and I love it. Eventually I would like to learn ballet because I feel like it can come naturally to me and people have always said I look and move like a dancer. ❤️ I felt like I saw your video at the right time. Sometimes I feel like I am "too old" to start something (odd i know) and when I began learning music at 18, my dream is to be a singer and I remember people telling me I will be too old by the time I am famous. My mom was going to sign me up for ballet lessons when I was 5, but then the studio near us closed. When I was 11, I decided I wanted to dance. I had a close friend at school who went to an expensive academy, and I would go over her house some days after school and ask her to teach me what she knew. My mom signed me up for lessons at the local community college, where I was in a class with only 2 other girls. I remember my teacher was surprised at how good my posture was and how well I already knew the different positions. I would practice new moves at home every week, over and over again. It made me feel so good to work hard and accomplish new things. I felt so excited to find out how good I could be if I kept learning and trying. I also received so many compliments at the time from people on the way I carried myself, because I was confident and had good posture. But after my first recital, my mom told me she couldn't afford for me to take classes anymore. This wasn't the first time my mom told me she couldn't afford for me to do something. I think it was at this point that I gave up on my dreams. I figured, "What's the point in trying? These things don't happen for me, only other people." I've spent so many years wondering "what if?" Comparing myself to other people who have danced for years, feeling like it's too late for me. But seeing this video really gives me hope and makes me want to sign up for classes at almost 30 years old! I really loved everything that was said in this video, and every time I start to forget and doubt myself again, I'll watch this.

I always loved to sing, but suffered terrible stage fright my entire life. Wouldn't even sing in front of friends or family. I was 38 when someone overhead me singing by chance... And wouldn't let go. 3 years, 2 albums and one local tour later we're getting ready for tour across several countries supporting much more famous band.
