Also, K Dot did not support R Kelly. “I don’t think it’s right for artists to be censored, especially in our culture. How did they just pick those [artists] out? How come they didn’t pick out any others from any other genres or any other different cultures? There [are] so many other artists that have different things going on, and they could’ve picked anybody. But it seems to me that they’re constantly picking on hip-hop culture.” It was about the selective censorship. People just like to twist facts to suite their story. Personnally I don't think that "meet the grahams" is a better diss than "not like us", because yes, it feels less violent, but that's what makes it so strong : while people will be like "damn" while listening to meet the grahams, when they listen to not like us, they dance, my man got the whole world singing "OV-hoe" for weeks, that's genius. The same goes for the use of humor, the A minor line already became a meme and is all over the internet. Not like us feels less like a diss than meet the grahams, and that's exactly why it's better, Kendrick is a damn evil genius.

All black Culture is not the same, not all black American cultures use "N" . And Drake grew up and was raised by his mom in a wealthy Jewish Canadian community and he himself said he was the only black kid around. Drakes music isn't an honest representation of how he was raised and his culture actually culture. Regarding the R Kelly thing; It was in the past, and R Kelly at that time was not R Kelly as of lately (publicly, that is). I also believe it was more about the principle of removing art from the artist because they're a bad person. For example: Michael Jackson. MJ is a confirmed offender of crimes in a similar manner, but you will seldom find a person that's ok with taking away that art from the world. Also, Drake has had a lot of inappropriate occurrences with minors in his the last 14 years, and I don't think Kendrick would double down so aggressively on these allegations if they were entirely false. That is taking a massive risk, and I don't think Kendrick would do that, nor do I think that is in his character as a person. Kendrick is highly revered by literature scholars, the culture surrounding hip hop, black America, and art in general. As we know, many people in positions of power will abuse that power for their own indulgences, regardless of how sinister they might be. I think Kendrick is using his credibility to shine a bright light on something that may potentially be a lot darker than we would ever know. Excuse me for the yapping, but I figured I would share some thoughts. Much love.

If you go back to the Internet, which you guys love so much, it will show you what you’re dealing with. It triggers me how people do not take messing with under age girls seriously until it happens to someone you love. I’m not anyone’s fan- I’m for what’s right. He even dissed R Kelly- “step this way step that way”,and Bill Cosby- “hey hey hey hey run for your life.” He never stood for R Kelly. He wanted his music to keep playing so that his victims will be compensated. And to answer your question, Drake was the first to speak about Kendrick’s family. By the way, Drake has been sneak dissing Kendrick for years. On Tupac AI, he kept teasing Kendrick to respond. 11 days later, Kendrick not only wrote Euphoria, but 9 more tracks. Why do you think they call him the boggy man. He’s not to be played with. Just like you went to Mr Morale and said Kendrick abused his wife. Go back and listen again. Also, go to the internet and see how many parties Drake had with girls under 17. Check out What’s the Dirt’s Podcast. He did his research and understood the assignment.
