I honestly don't think this generation is softer, just more vocal, and more encouraging on talking about our problems rather than just being quiet about it. And are able to broadcast it more, than it just being towards a few people and those few people aren't as understanding as someone from 50 miles away. Y'all bring up amazing conversations in your videos, and so far being one of my favorite reaction channels.

Honestly, I think 99% of rappers who rap about drugs never do it because it will make them famous or for cloud chasing, excluding a few artists, but they sing about it because it is genuinely a part of their lives whether they just witnessed abuse or been the abuser themselves. There is nothing more real than an artist truly expressing themselves and sharing an insight to their mind-state in order to reach out and help people who feel the same way.

The meaning behind the line, "If it wasn't for the pills i would't be here, but if I keep takin these pills i won't be here" is because juice claims that when he gets high it helps him express his emotions. And he expresses his emotions through his songs, so basically hes saying he would not be able to make songs without drugs, but drugs were also killing him. RIP juice

I prefer rich and blind over legends personally. I compare them because they were released together. Also, I honestly didnt like most of wishing well, but the second verse really got me ("Let's be for real If it wasn't for the pills, I wouldn't be here But if I keep taking these pills, I won't be here").
@TaunT_Youtube3 жыл бұрын

@6guys7302 жыл бұрын
When you were talking about the line “if it wasn’t for the pills I wouldn’t be here, but if I keep taking these pills I won’t be here” that line is representing the fact that he got famous off of taking drugs and making music while he was extremely high and off of drugs but then he says that if he keeps taking them he won’t be here, meaning his death Edit: everyone thinks that people didn’t try to help him get off of drugs but in fact they did they tried as hard as they could to get him off of drugs. But the sad part is the fact that he died the month before we was going to rehab to recover from his addictions

Juice said in an interview that he was inspired to do drugs by Future. And here's the saddest part: Future was clean and sober for YEARS while still putting out music glorifying drugs... So he influences a generation of rappers who abused drugs, and the entire time, Future wasn't even doing them.

I just want to say that you two are amazing and also I want to thank you for your content. You're obviously both very lovely people and deserve a lot of good in this world. Much love to MamaT! Edited to add that, sadly, Juice had finally agreed to go into rehab and was due to go in not long after he died (I believe Lil Bibby said in his Vlad interview it was a matter of weeks.) Seeing how you both react to addiction is really warming. I lost my oldest and youngest brothers to suicide within a year of each other, and with mental health struggles comes addiction of some sort or another. Mental health can be a fatal illness in so many ways. Loving that you both recognise this and don't look down at these young men or see them as weak or failing in some manner. Thank you so much@ x
