I heard this song for the first time this evening… I’ve been sick since I was 14 (I then 30 next month). My illnesses were finally diagnosed and treated within the past 4 years; but I struggled feeling like I lost so much in my teen years and early 20s because of being so sick. I never got the experiences I always dreamt of; and my life isn’t where I expected it to be by this age… But this song is a reminder that through Christ, I can TAKE BACK WHAT THE ENEMY STOLE from me when I was sick. Satan tried to keep me down and still tries to keep me down through medical PTSD; but Jesus is here to raise me up! This song fires me up! I know it wasn’t, but I feel like it was written just for me… I know who I belong to, I know the price paid for me to be a child of God! The Lord and I went through a amazing experience in 2021 when he showed me The freedom he was bringing my daughter who was addicted to drugs for 12 years. He showed me scripture, he put sermons in my face, he gave me visions, he told me the only way she would be set free was by fasting and praying… And he showed me how to do it. I believed every Word he spoke over her situation. I believed everything he put in front of me I followed his plan to a T and he is so so faithful! She was two years clean March 29 of this year… To all God be the glory! Now on that note, I have somehow forgot for a minute who I am in Christ… I have let the devil speak lies over me, and I have believed them. But not anymore as of today, I’m taking my life back, I am going to stand in the gap for every person in my family who is lost, and I am going to call the angels and Jesus down to go and before me to prepare the Way to bring freedom to every member of my family. I’m taking it all back because of who I serve… His name is Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, his name alone makes every demon tremble and flea!
