And yes, I feel good with it, I had money left over to buy a decent holster, a proper gun case with key and lock ( I have small curious children), and a very nice travel bag (as I do a lot of traveling in my line of work). So, I am pleased with the low price point, though in my region it costed me about 400 dollars.

My G3C jammed on the first round I attempted to load it. Polishing feedramp did not fix this, solution was using only specific ammo for the gun.

That’s interesting to say the least. We haven’t had that problem, maybe contact Taurus and they can have you send it back?

Picked one up for about 200$ new, been shooting it quite a bit, almost daily in fact, and the trigger is getting better and better and it will literally eat anything I feed it, from tula steel and junk reloads to premium +p federal and some hornday critical duty/custom and it has been more accurate and functioned better than my glock 19 and my glock 26 both. Im VERY happy with my purchase especially at the price point its hard to beat.

@@GSquaredTactical I also just learned that there are about 30 different magazines that interchange with this gun as well, Sig P226, Canik SA line 9mm mags, Taurus 24/7. SEVERAL bersa pistols. Bought 5 pretty new magazines for 5$ each at local pawn shop, all slide lock and function flawlessly. Sig and Canik mags have 18+1 and 20+1 capacity and run great.

got the g3c and ordered the TORO slide accessory. Currenly have a dove tail adapter plate with a AT3 tactical red dot.. Pretty darn accurate, as it was right out the box.

I have every Taurus in the "G" Series except the G3 4". As a ret engr I appreciate the performance per cost ratio and these firearms come out on top! P.S. I purchased the G3 4" 17+1 all blk model 2day online. Will B putting my fingerprints all over it in 7 - 10 days! OH JOY!

I think that gun snobs belittle people who are more budget minded when it comes to firearm purchases. This is bad, people who aren't "gun people" shouldn't be made to feel like they have to spend $600-$1000 to have a gun that is worthy of ownership. The saying applies: A Taurus or a Hi-point on the nightstand will save you a hell of alot faster than a Sig on layaway.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. If it serves its purpose, What else can you ask? You can be a gun person with a pistol handed down from generations that you never put a cent into. You don’t have to own a small militia to know what you’re talking about

@@GSquaredTactical Cost is not a measure of good design, function, and accuracy. Lots of high end guns fail just like others. Cost does not provide any guarantees. Cost is a measure of material quality and service life. I would not expect a Taurus to outlast a SIG for example although Taurus G series pistols have put up some super high round counts and are still running. I have heard the line of go get a Glock yet I have seen Glocks fail on the gun range and Glocks do have chamber support problems. SIGs can and do fail. Smiths can and do fail and the list goes on. There is not a gun made that "cannot" fail and cost does not prevent that from happening. Its a complex mechanical tool. Any gun company is capable of making a good designed gun but they are equally capable of making a bad one. So buying a high end gun does not provide any guarantees that prevent gun failure. Look at the gun, not the name on it.

I have a G2C and it runs whatever I feed it, from steel cased Russian ammo to low power factor reloads so I like it.... I can say the same for my S&W SD9VE. I like my glocks but I don't talk people down if they show me a SCCY that is the only the pistol they own.

@@Hogheadsforbreakfast You are in the minority. A lot of folks do talk others down. Glocks are not the beat all end all pistols but a lot of folks want you to think they are. They do fail and have problems like any other pistol but folks suppress that because of their brand bias.

I have a G-3 and love it. I shot the G3, my old PT-111, my daughters Springfield XDS and her Boyfriend's Glock 19. Overall the G-3 was the best of them. I admit that the XDS trigger was a lil better but other than that the G-3 was better in every other aspect. I was actually a lil surprised and disappointed that the Glock, at least from my perspective was worst overall. Even my old PT-111, which was pre-2010-11 to the best of my recollection, even seemed to be better shooting pistol. I have heard alot of negative about taurus, but honestly the only problem mine has ever had was not cleaning it after shooting really cheap ammo.

I have owned 51 Taurus guns,senior,they are getting better,put 5000 rounds thru g3,and get back on report.The Glock 19,no comparison.Its proven.
