Just so everyone is aware, the reset on this weapon is much better than he’s claiming and showing. It’s actually super short and honestly just as good as my glocks stock triggers. This weapon has the ability to double strike so in the event you have a light primer strike, you don’t have to clear the malfunction but rather just pull the trigger again. That acts like a double action but only if the firing pin hasn’t been reset. That’s my understanding of how this weapon works.

Hell not only that the other day when I was buying my daughter a G3c I checked the trigger pull on six or seven different g3s and I couldn't believe every time I picked one up the trigger pull was LIKE BUTTER the best trigger I've ever pulled on any pistol under $500 Four or five years ago I bought her a Tikka T3 25-06 which has a tremendous trigger the surprise I had then is the same as I had when pulling the trigger on those G3c counting the one I bought her HELL I got out the door with $280 spent and a $50 mail in rebate still to come 😁 all around PS I walked in the store knowing I was going to buy a G2c but I swear the trigger pull on that gun had to be close to 8-9 lb$ Needless to say there was no way I was going to give that to her

@@terryeibeck8036 Right. I agree with you there. Very good buy and an even better value. It’s hard to beat this little gun that’s for sure but in my opinion, the g2c is a better all around gun than the g3c. I own both and I like the g2 better. It has better sights and I like the frame better but other than that, they’re the same damn thing basically. Taurus has done what any good company would do, they listened to the consumer and they delivered. Lately, Taurus has really stepped it up and impressed the hell out of me. I despise the "fine motor skill" argument against a gun safety. The M-4 /AR-15 also has a selector switch (safety) that you need to engage to fire a round. Speaking from actual combat experience, disengaging a safety as you simultaneously raise your firearm to the ready is quite doable, even as you're getting shot at or moving to cover. It's how the military trains it's soldiers to fight. So train how you'll fight, and you'll fight how you train🤷

Regarding your comments on the "loaded chamber indicator", I respect your preference. But there are two things to consider. 1) I don't believe the goal is to be able to see it while aligning the sights on a target and 2) you stated other manufacturers use an indicator at the end of the slide to tell you a round is chambered. Actually that indicator at the end of the slide, found on other guns, tells you the striker is cocked and not that a round has been chambered.

Check out where the new CEO for Taurus USA came from, I hear he's a smart fellow who has brought with him the quality guidelines from his background at Sig Saur. That's right ✅️

Train like you shoot. If one uses a thumb safety, than train. Just like having a light on your pistol. You must train with it or that split second of indecision could make your day bad. BTW, not sure if you covered the safety issue with lights on handguns or not.

I pocket carry consistently for EDC using a Desantis super fly and will carry 380 or a micro 9 especially the Canik Mete 9

You can adjust the railing on the light. I own the same light and you can even switch the lever to close the other way including sliding it forward away from your finger.Nice G3C bro. Where'd you get the od green and how much more do they charge?

I bought a pt111 g2 in 2017. I practice pulling it out of holster and click safety off. It becomes second nature. Not that hard to draw and flip safety.

They do make the G3 series in a number of safeties with or without left or right handed or ambidextrous very few stores will carry the options. I have one set up to where the safety acts as a slide lock not a safety.

taurus g3c can come with or without a safety, with or without an optics mount, with or without night sights.
@kylejohnson13083 ай бұрын
I've never seen one without a safety unless it's one of those hybrids like the G3c XL or whatever.
@stephen4892 жыл бұрын
This is my opinion, but the light isn't the problem when it comes to it hitting your thumb. Your thumb shouldn't be there. That pad is for left handed shooters to rest their trigger finger on until they're ready to move it to the trigger itself. It's called the Memory Pad. You can see it's on both sides. Just suggesting trying a different grip.

My new G3c has several problems right out of the box. I contacted Taurus and they said to send it back. Taurus does not provide a shipping label like other companies do. You have to pay the shipping back. That starts to eat up any savings I got over a S&W Shield. ☹️

I have a G2 and G3 and prefer the G2 loaded indicator because in the dark I can confirm camber loaded with a simple touch. Also, you didn't assess the trigger pull accurately at all. It didn't bother you at the range because it was probably only ab out 5 1/2 lb if you rack the slide. Also, the reset is very short after the slide is activated. I carry with one in the pipe so it is cocked, so the pull is about 5 1/2 lb. Also, I like the manuel safety and have my thumb on the safety anytime it leaves the holster so it is automatic and I don't have to think about it.

Your judging the reset way wrong. Keep your finger on the trigger after to work the slide then go forward you will see the real reset is very very short. Now most people will not be able to do that in a live fire fight I’m sure.

Taurus is screaming to you all that you don't need to spend 6 to 700 dollars on a concealed carry. Mine just feels better to me than my P365. The feel, and once I made my unnecessary upgrades using my Dremel and orders from Lakeline LLC. I felt like I was king fish of concealed carry at the range. Feels better than my Glock 19 too. For the price and a few minor tweaks this baby is a steal. Don't overthink it.
@edledoux27882 жыл бұрын
Even though the loaded chamber indicater is not visible when aiming, they allow you to check the chamber status by feel, which could be helpful in the dark. Also, the red dot on the rear of a Canik shows if the striker is cocked and does not indicate whether or not there is a round in the chamber.

The only thing missing in the Taurus DA/SA guns is a decocker; that would be ideal: rack, load, decock, and you are ready for a double action first round without having to remember to release the safety. Perfect.

Ok....im 2 years late but i did do all those upgrades except for that front sight. In an adrenaline rush encounter, the front sight is the last thing im looking at. No time for that. Bang Bang first, target hit or miss, cover next, its not target practice. Oh well....just me. Fun at the range.

Thanks for the informative video sir. I am considering buying Taurus G3C. My local sporting good store had them for $249.99 and Taurus this month has a $25.00 mail in rebate. I have never owned a striker fired pistol . I have been more of a 1911 and revolver guy. The Taurus G3C just seems too good a deal to pass up. I do not a weapon on my body as I have always felt my appearance was enough to ward off evil doers. Like Don Cervantes , Man of La Mancha, I am a knight of the woeful countenance.

If you shop around, you should be able to find the G3c for around 250. I got mine for $240 out the door, sold off the 3 10 round mags it came with for $75, then added 12 rounders since they're legal here. I already had a bunch from my G2C anyway.
