They are wonderful pistols. Taurus was a bit shaky in the beginning, but all their current production pistols are good to go. All the benefits of a Glock at a third the price.

I'm always skeptical of Taurus since I've been burned TWICE by their pistols in the past but the g2c got me hooked. I hope they keep striving to strike up a good name 👍🏽

Taurus, as someone who previously owned a Taurus gx4, i ended up trading my gx4 towards a Springfield hellcat due to the fact that the hellcat i purchased had the option of a manual safety. The gx4 is a fine gun, I’ve just come to the point if I’m going to carry I’d rather have a safety switch. Please make a gx4 variant that has a manual safety, I will probably purchase one. I have a g3c currently and like it, I carry that nearly as much as the hellcat. But the gx4 was about as good as the hellcat. The only reason I traded it was due to no safety. Just a situation I was almost in changed my personal rules for how I carry.

manual safety is not necessary on any firearm. Your finger is the safety.

Great gun, now let's supply the dealers with magazines for it. I bought mine a few months back, been to over 20 gun shops here in WA state and can't find a single mag for it, told buy all shops they haven't been supplied any. This is the second Taurus I've had the same problem with finding mags this year.

@@thepistolguy859 the rails are different between the G3C and the G2C. So the G3C slide won't fit the G2C.

risab lima Ditto. A standard GX4 manual safety version. No TORO. Then I would be serious about getting one provided that it has proper chamber support. However, a micro compact is not for everybody. The pistol has to fit the shooter for comfort in carrying and shooting. The G series sub compacts G2c, G2s, and G3c and compact G3 will fit most folks better. The smaller the pistol, the harder it is to shoot. Since I already have a micro compact SIG P365MS I know what to expect in a GX4.

This should have been day one available due to the already established competition like the Hellcat. I went to KYGunCo for a test shoot and the GX4 not being optics ready was a big letdown. This and the G3c being optics ready should not hike the price by more than 30-40 but you know they will lower the price on the non RDO ready ones and raise the initial price on something they should have already offered.

I just bought a GX4 non optic ready couple weeks ago because I kept hearing the optic ready would not be out for a while, probably would have waited. Got my GX4 at a bargain price of $299 and that is probably why. Not complaining to much, I got a deal and it is a great pistol and will go into my rotation.

Most manufactures (from firearms to electronics) does this so I don't get why some people throw a hissy fit when all the need to do is wait a couple months. Also Springfield Armory did the same thing with the Hellcat so why is anyone still shocked by this?🤷‍♂️

I bought one and the extended 13rd mag pinches the hell out of your pinky. Rest sight wasn’t aligned as well. Trigger safety blade pinches as well. All in all, I’ll probably buy a p365x and keep the gx4 toro as a truck gun

The mounting system is milled into the slide. It's not an attachment. The part that you see in the video is a cover for the slide incase you don't want to add an optic. The are a number of companies that can mill your slide to fit an optic or you could wait for the T.O.R.O version to be released.

I am concerned about several persistent complaints about GX4 trigger failures. These are real for all I see. Even after warranty repairs the failur persists. Found this video for whatever is worth. I, as well as I am sure many other GX4 owners, would like to see an affirmative forward no nonsense expression from TAURUS on this issue that no longer may be ignored. This problem has caught my attention and consideration. This may be the problem.. Don't know what the solution is but if it was me, I would ask for a gun replacement from TAURUS. That’s great now that there’s a factory optic setting. But in reality nobody is going to use the fucking stupid red dot sight because it is a sub micro compact! As much as I like the gun you guys fucked up on this one!
