I have the same gun but with 17 round mags. It feels awesome with the extended mag and full grip. Great gun. Hard to beat for under 3 bills.

SD, thanks for showing us ur Taurus TH9C pistol, looks great.. I had just brought the TH40 pistol for $154.00 used otd. one 15 round mag, no case. The local pawnshop also had a TH9C used pistol and I had gone back and put money down for layaway. Also, they have a TH9 pistol used for $154.00 otd, so I put that pistol on layaway too. Three pistols, TH40/TH9C/TH9 all for $154.00 each otd....

I got one about 4 years ago as my first fun. Have over 4k rounds thru it and i cant remember a single issue. It is the 17 and 13 round model. 17 fits perfect and 13 is a tad small. Gonna look into the extension you mentioned. Looking to get the full size. Awesome gun 10/10.

With the forward serrations, you were thinking of the PT-809 fullsize, with the TH-9 they eliminated the forward serrations

Ordered same package as you did with the three ten round mags. Was $54 less than the one with single 13 round and 17 round mags. Have read that g3 15 round mags work also. Was glad to find a DA/SA pistol under $300. Good overview.

Mine came with a 10 and 17 round mag with a sleeve on it. Solid little gun. Love mine.

People forget...if you get into a shooting situation...your EDC is gone, probably for good. So that Wilson Combat edc or H&K is gone...If it's a Taurus...pffft...it did it's job. Get another one...

I forgot Taurus made this series, been looking for a hammer-fired pistol, I was considering a Bersa Thunder+ (I don't mind .380, with 15 in the mag) or a PDP-F 3.5 (not hammer, but I already own a PDP-C and they are chassis sys, aling with doubling the mags) wonder how the TH9C would stack up ?

Bersa TPR9C comes in 9mm and has the best trigger and reset of all DA/SA compact models.

I carried the TH9 and the TH9c religiously for about 3 years and absolutely loved them. I have since switched to the G3 and the G3c. All of these pistols are an excellent value for the price. I just wish Taurus would have come out with the PT809 gen 2 instead of discontinuing it and then reintroducing it as the TH series. Good video and keep up the good work. "Check out Outlaw Holsters". By the way, I have a 15 year old PT92 that is probably the most accurate pistol I've ever shot.

Does it take a lot of effort to go from safety to decocker? I'm concerned about accidentally decocking the weapon when switching from safety to ready to shoot and you could accidentally thumb it down to decocking the weapon.

Hi, just as you, I'm contemplating purchase of the th9c with 3 10 rds magazines. I also live in the free state without mag restrictions and i liked the idea from beginning of the video where you tried to drill the mag limit indentations. Are you satisfied with results?

I have a pt809c which is almost the same gun the only difference I know of is the recoil spring assembly is 1/16 of an in longer my pt809c has a 13 and 17 round mag just like the th9c. Taurus guns parts are made in Brazil then put together in the Taurus USA plant at 100 Taurus Way, Bainbridge, GA 39817 I have some friends that work there putting the guns together.

Seems like Michigan might not be "free" for long unfortunately. I'm in Minnesota and they are pushing major gun control here now too. God help us all. Love the videos though keep em coming as long as you can. FJB and the AFT
