The bullet nose diving is common on 1911's in 9mm as they often use 38 super mags. Try Wilson Combat 9mm 1911 mags as they know their 1911's and parts. Cut-out at the front, better feed ramp geometry on the follower, and spacer at the back. Also try the WC 1911 spring kit. Sometimes there's a bad batch of factory springs. Good honest range review 👍

I bought a Sar B6 about 3 months ago. I’ve put about 1k rounds through it with no problems. I paid $199 for the thing. I’m blown away by its accuracy, build quality, and reliability. I bought a 19 round extended CZ75 mag and a standard 17 round CZ75 mag and both run flawlessly. It’s my EDC. I love it.

I saw those & a bunch of earlier S&W trade ins. Really good prices. I’ve been playing catch up on everything lately with the inflation. So I wasn’t able to get one. Hope to have the $ on hand if another batch hits in the near future. Lean budget = have to prioritize. Enjoy yours though. Terrific buy. Glad you were watching. Mind me asking what SG sold them for?

How important is a smooth trigger pull for shoot paper targets that don't move? I wish one 25cent trigger job video showed your groups before and after the polish. This is such a waste of Cloned Copied content

Sweet looking pistol! Ran into the same problem some years back and stripped out 3/4 of the screws and gave up on it. Since then started working in the trades and learned a LOT about how to deal with difficult screws. Had to take a cutting wheel and score some slots into the screws + spray some penetrating oil to finally get them to break loose. Luckily the grips I got came with an extra set of screws cause the old ones were destroyed. Now she’s got a pretty set of wood panels on her 😁

I call the RIA factory wood grips "pallet wood" grips LOL, because it looks like they might've used slats off pallets to make them. It's not a stretch to think they might actually do this. I like them because they're easy to clean, and can be sanded and varnished to mimic any wood color you like. The 1911 design is such a good design it's hard to screw it up as long as the parts are made at least halfway decent. And RIA does a superb job, and their pistols run like a champ.

Had an 89 in 91. Loved it. Got into a money jam, and like a fool sold it in 2001. Bought a 95 in 2010, loved it. Still have it. But, I missed my 89, and searched for one for a long time. The used guns were either trashed of were priced way too high. Finally found an 89 late 2023 at an auction, and picked it u[ for $225.00. Has some miles on it, but functions perfectly, and came with 17 round magazines to boot. I am now happy...got my baby again.
