It's worth mentioning that the beauty of the optic mount that is provided with the TX 22 Competition is that it's ingeniously attached to the barrel -- not to the slide -- for full stability.

@yuibot59983 жыл бұрын
@@liedebunker1253 Mine absolutely loves every type of Aguila I've tried in it, including Super Maximum. I think how you load the mags on these is critical. For instance, I handed mine to my dad who has only ever shot single stack 22 handguns and when he loaded the mag he had the top round nose-diving before he ever put the mag in the gun. On most single stack 22 guns you don't have to be nearly as careful when you load them. The rims on 22LR cause issues you don't see with centerfire rounds...that's one reason why there aren't a lot of double stack 22 guns. I've also heard some people have had to take their mags apart and do some polishing, remove plastic flashing from the molding process, clean them up, etc. If you haven't tried all that you might give it a shot. I know when I load my mags I have to be really careful to keep the noses up and hold the mag just right, give it a smack as I am loading to keep the rounds orientated just right. As long as I do that, mine doesn't jam even with bulk Winchester and Federal.

(I didn’t know either). “10 Round Taurus Mags. You can Convert them to hold MORE Rounds”. Are The 16 round mags hard for you to find? Don’t pass up on the 10 round mags if you can buy them. You can go to Tandemkross or one of the other vendors that are selling the +3/+5/+9 extension kits. The body of the 10 round mags is hollow (same as 16 round mags) - the only difference is the side cut out (which you don’t use after taking the plug out of the follower, the internal spring is replaced with the one you buy in the extension kit and the Internal Limiter (a piece of added black tubing, is remove). You can convert a 10 round mag using the tandemKross +5 round kit to now hold 21 rounds. It works. FYI

Killer little gun. I'm half Brazilian so I'm always a bit optimistically biased about Taurus but they really came through on this one, I have ten year old twins that like to shoot but kick makes them hesitate and not enjoy shooting as much. This pistol is great because it teaches semiauto skills without them being hesitant. I'm sure investing in Georgia has helped them step it up a notch. Looking forward to Taurus future products. They could be a game changer like Canik has been making awesome quality at super reasonable prices,
@SurfistaEletrico Жыл бұрын
Half-brazilian too. Technically and financially Taurus is really evolving. However, back in Brazil, Taurus is siding with the leftist government which is imposing heavy drastic restrictions on legal gun possession. You would think this makes no sense, but you know how strange it can be there. We think Taurus is trying to cut a deal to get "protection" from foreign products imports. So, virtually, a Monopoly.

The plan is to meet at the NRA Whitting Center in Raton, NM for a couple of days of shooting. I also purchased a the basic Henry rifle with a scope. It should be a fun time. Keep up the good work. Hammerli makes incredible target/competition pistols. I shot a single shot bolt action model many years ago. The trigger was set at 10 ounces which is scary light if you don't know what you are doing.
@herbderbler15853 жыл бұрын
@@paulshayter1113 that is scary, I've had electronic paintball guns with triggers that light because they were basically just a finger lever clicking a microswitch.
