Tautog Fishing New Jersey PLUS!!! UNDERWATER FOOTAGE!

In today's video, I traveled to a canal to do some Tautog fishing. The bite was red hot today and I caught a ton of fish. I also tried something new. I sent my GoPro down and captured some amazing underwater footage of life on the canal floor. It was a great day to be fishing. Today I used a Tog Jig from our friend Eddie at Toggy Time Jigs. Thanks man!!! Appreciate you watching. I was so nervous I'd get snagged and lose the camera. I actually caught a Tog with the camera down there, I had a hook with crab above the camera, but the angle didn't pick the strike up

Nice video, but wasn't this already shown? Black fishing, at least for me, is the best fishing. I couldn't wait until October 15, for our season to open. Our limit is 4 @ 16". I didn't like fishing for them in the Spring, where we started April 1, until April 30, with the limit of 2, same size. Since I got hurt, I can't get out any longer. ENJOY!! - 🇮🇹 🇺🇸❤🇺🇸❤🇺🇸

Hi Mike, It's interesting that the water seems so shallow there and you only have to drop down. But there really was s lot of activity in just a small spot. I would definitely buy from Toggy Time Jigs to support our local state business. Maybe see what the different colors look like in that murkiness of churned up sediment. Kaylee, by the time you go out this fall you'll probably outdo us older guys once again. Take care guys

Hey John, yea, close to the canal wall it's only a few feet deep, but there's a ton of life even in the shallows. And Kaylee is gonna be doing her first Tog trip on a boat this fall, im sure she'll outfish everyone as always, lol. Thanks for watching buddy!

Regardless the size of tog, smaller hook, smaller bait. You'll outfish the person to the left and right of you. Try it. 👌
