An interview which has never been aired!
First of all I uploaded only raw video's without editing. One day I decided to upload a part of a DVD. It didn't work, so I asked my daughter to help. She was backing cookies and that didn't work as well, so we changed places and that DID work, LOL!

I simply love Tavares 💖! When my grandson first saw this interview, he looked at Butch and said, “Grandpa!!!!” He really thought that was his grandfather, until I had to explain to him who he was. So when his grandfather came home from work, he ran up to him and said, “hi grandpa Butch”. I laughed so hard, I was crying 😂😂😂😂. I must admit though, my husband do look like Butch.

They did something I’d not before ever seen. During a concert within a small club they came out to greet everyone table by table, very very handsome fellas, I mean, “ you hung on to your girl handsome”, and extremely gracious men despite the recent accolades they’d accomplished in late 70’s/early 80’s, poised and polished.

@GQBlue3 Their grandparents were all Cape Verdian, but they were born in the US, just like their parents. They spoke English and a Portugese dialect at home and they still use small words like 'tia' and 'tio' (aunt and uncle) They started singing Cape Verdian songs at streetcorners with their father.

hm...the interviewer was more like a teacher, see if the guys have done their homework! :-/ OR he's taking the easy way out because he doesn't know all their songs & let the guys say it. Anyway, the guys were sweet & modest,stayed friendly all the time. Thanks for always coming to "Holland" guys, we LOVE ya.
