Not surprising. People forget that Fiji is a mixture of islanders and not one ethnicity. There are stories of surfing in Fiji yet Jesus has put a stop to that savageness apparently. Remember it almost died out in Hawaii as well.

Hi. Did anyone ever see a small story in maybe Surfing Life magazine, back in the 80's with Ross Clarke-Jones, Tom Carroll and (I think) Occy surfing Huuuuuuuge Cloudbreak? I think there was one small pic of one of the boys about to take off and it was massive. Anyone?!!
