A lot of exceptions: "Patients with untreated and clinically significant coronary artery disease were excluded to avoid concomitant SAVR and coronary-artery bypass grafting, which is associated with an increased surgical risk. Patients who had undergone previous cardiac surgery, had bicuspid aortic-valve or other valvular heart disease, or had associated diseases warranting additional surgical t treatment."
